If this is really true then good news .
Razak dawood also talks about exporting our bikes and electrical goods such as fridge and washing machines to Africa. As they too use the manual equipment there as they are low cost.

First they are not the manufacturer of trucks. their product is mounted on Hino Pak Truck. Most trucks are use for general purpose. Only few trucks get mounted by such things like crane/Ariel platform etc.
They probably are not the only company dealing in it in Pakistan.
& you simply can't built everything in house.
e.g. Japan is high end market why they use Pakistani RIckshaw instead of their own. its not a high tech product.
Reason is we have allied industries to support commercial production of vehicle and that too at competitive price.
You simply can't produce everything in house.

Khandan-e-Shareefan, are very familiar with DAEWOO since Lahore-Islamabad motorway contract.
Younger Sharif claims, اگر ایک پیسے کی کرپشن ثابت ھوئی تو استعفیٰ دے دونگا۔ Definitely they are not doing corruption of one paisa, they are fond of billions.

Trucks are HinoPak, rest are mostly steel parts manufactured for them by some steel company, hydrolics are probably imported and all put together by 50 staff...not impossible. Its the design that makes it work not who makes what part.
