Manila bombers who plotted attacks on international airport, Chinese embassy arrested

There is the term "Tsinoy" while Filipinos call them "Intsik" but the latter is offensive for the local Fil-Chinese for some reason, or if they want to, they can revived to old Spanish terms for them which is "Sangley."

Tama ka dyan. :)

Well, my negative views of the Chinese are too personal considering it involves my family...

However, the negative views by some common Filipinos towards the local Chinese already existed but was not bad until the 90s, particularly with the kidnappings of rich Tsinoys which were often heard in local news during that decade, the fact that most richest Tsinoys are against the idea of fully opening the country to FDIs to lessen the dependence on the OFWs and the current territorial disputes.

You keep blirting this rasism sh!t without even a peek the forums rules, you are close to a vacation.

Let me also tell you some truth. The protective way of equity restraint is to care the infantry industries of your own nation. It is a common practice among all developing world.

Without these rules, the Koreans, the Japanese, the Taiwanese, the Chinese, the American and the Spanish will take over your whole economy.

Don't let your hatred blind your view of the real world.

.
can you call them that then, Chinese today mean mainland Chinese, and that's it, maybe HK and Macao if they want to, but mostly it's just us who can use it.

American brits don't call them british do thye.

Well most, if not, all the time, we call them "Intsik."

We have our own well-established industries but there is no competition from others that will allow the common Filipino to choose better services.

Being a Filipino myself, I am surprised a fellow Filipino is saying Filipinos are racist towards Chinese or Filipino Chinese. This is surprising. Any proof?

Exactly. I had a trip there with a joint team from several countries and NGOs. My observation is the Filipino whether with Chinese heritage or Spanish heritage they all consider them as Filipino and show quite a sense of unity. I do see the tendency of Spanish-Filipino rich families' slightly jealousness towards the Chinese Filipino but that's all within the natural business to business, or influence rivalry.

One Filipino told me that most Filipino are mixed with Chinese blood as Chinese came earlier than the Spanish and outnumbered the latter as the far cry distance avoid mass Spanish's landing on the islands plus there was plenty of America for limited spanish population to colonize. The spanish family name scenario is only a heritage just the African American's adoption of Anglo-Saxon names.
I do understand there's some riches look down to those poor. But this is purely a social norm. The fairy skined host family in Makati Manila treat his dark skined servants like slaves and disgusted me. He's proud of his spanish family, hanging a picture in his living room of his ancestor with a rife who came colonizing the Philippines.

Maybe yes, maybe no. Politics is f- up here.

Why is it so f-ed up? All of the Filipinos that I've met, personally, have been very friendly. Filipinos also seem very community oriented but I've seen documentaries where elections can be violent - and I don't mean scuffling but full on gun battles. What gives?

A simple summary which is true from 1998 up to present: If president A is charged with corruption during his/her term and steps down at the end of their turn, the elected President B (who is won by either election rigging or vote buying) will pursue the charges against President A and the same thing will likely happen when President B steps down and President C is elected.

As for the gun battles, it is evident in the provinces where political clans dominate the local politics, similar to the old feudal system.

Oh look, the Fil-Chinese is back, going to spread his love for the Yellow-government.

Oh, btw, I am not the only anti-Fil-Chinese racist in this country...and we will no longer be a minority.

Good - then we can use nuclear weapons on your country and exterminate you once and for all.
