Manawa attack perpetrator gets ten years in jail

LAHORE: Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore has awarded ten years imprisonment to Hijratullah on charges of involvement in Manawan attack.

Army troops apprehended Hijratullah during an operation launched after militants attack on Manawan police training center. He was also involved in Pir Makki bomb blast.

The terrorist has been sentenced to spend ten years in jail on completion of initial trial period.

Hiratullah was involved in Police Training Center attack in Manawa on 30th March this year in which ten police officers were killed.

Is that punishment was enough for him?
Wt he will do after 10 years?.....he would be around 35 -40......and would become more dangerous!!!!

Dude, the judge should be fired.10 years is nothing.He should have been sentenced to death.It would've saved state from his jail expenses

that's weired, at the very least he should've gotten 35 years, but why not go for death penalty and save tax payers money.

You can only award a penalty which is perscribed by statute, you can't go beyond the staututory maximum. I suspect the charge was such that the maximum was 10 years.

maybe he isn't the real culprit, just some paid chowkidar to guard the guns or something. this doesn't make any sense otherwise.
