Man shot dead by Rangers for allegedly failing to stop car

Appears to be correct move by Rangers , accident and very sad one but the security demands these protocols

If this person tried to jump through a road block, I'd understand the shooting. But looks like the rangers were on motorcycle when they hailed him. Its possible the victim might have missed them. Terrible incident.

We need proper training on how to disarm a moving car instead of taking down the driver. In this situation the car was backing up to escape. Very heavy handed and unprofessional in this particular case. Either way we cannot blame the security when idiots keep thinking they can get away.

Why are you people blaming the Rangers ? , they are just doing their job , following their protocol of engaging any hostile moving vehicle .

Sure it is sad that the man was shot , but he was the one at fault , given the situation of Karachi , you need to follow the exact directions of LEA .

You should know that , Rangers Actually have the order to Shoot at sight , any hostile person or vehicle .

You people should think for yourself, standing at post for 8 hours duty during Ramzan...in a hostile environment...with highg chances of suicide bomber cropping up from anywhere...you stop a car but it speeds up instead. What would be your first instinct?

Ab ranger ko ilhami to nhn aye gi na keh banda terrorist hai ya innocent. If the guy sped up, then he was at total fault...his actions arose suspicion.

As I said, there isn't a shortage of idiots in our country who think they can do anything they want.

As for your kind information the police department is not that much to handle the whole city...

So u use a paramilitary force for policing cities? how stupid is tht anyway? these guys were trained to be on the border or fight some insurgency etc not patrol some city.

Agree with u boy... but if u don't have enough police in the city, what else u can do?, i know it kinda feels awful, that a paramilitary force, is patrolling the city... think that what could possibly have happened to the city if this force was not there???, because our police is corrupt and doesn't do anything...
