What's all the fuss about ?

Fuss is that people who have no understanding of Islamic law, Islamic legislation and pakistn legislation are commenting, basing it on their mullah definition. I mean zarvan basically called anybody supporting this law a kafir and by default wajib ul qatal.

These are the side effect of an extremist nation who don't think but act emotionally killing and pillaging in their wake.

In my book the law is Islamic just as other laws of the Islamic republic of Pakistan where no unislamic law can be passed bcz of the basic safeguards against it.

Believe you me, if tomorrow Saudi Arabia does the same thing then it would become ultra Islamic.

No right is absolute. Human relationships are complex and based on compromise. Now I don't know if you are married or not?

But imagine turning up with a new wife without consulting your first wife. A complete disaster, women like men get jealous, the peace of the home is destroyed leading to divorce.

Janaab prophet saww was an infallible person , a great human ever born on this earth and it's not the case with every men , not every men can b just like prophet saww especially seeing today's examples . As per Sahih Hadith (i.e Sahih Bukhari, Hadith No. 4887 & 2900), the Holy Prophet PBUH didn't permit Hazrat Ali to marry another woman and asked him to divorce his daughter Fatima bint e Muhammad (AS) first if he (i.e Ali ra) wanted second marriage .... Are you sure that you are trying to follow the greatest of all men; Muhammad e Arabi ?

If women were allowed to have multiple husband's in Islam it was ok but islam make it haram. So yes men are allowed to have 2nd 3rd and 4th wife at same time.

You can google it if you want to learn the full story. Also, please tell us that why, in your opinion, the example of Ali كَرَّمَ اللَّهُ وَجْهَهُ and Fatima عَلَيْهَا السَّلَام can not be quoted here.

As for Islam allowing men to have 4 wives, certain conditions/restrictions have been set forth; obeying the law of the land and following the (pre-)conditions agreed upon by the husband and wife at the time of signing the marriage contract are mandatory

Why didn't islam give women the right ?

Because at the time marrying a second wife was much like taking her under your protection and giving her a home. This ability was mainly a mans and hence it would make no sense for a women to be allowed multiple husbands, Of course this practice still is pretty medieval and has no place in the modern world.

As per the Holy Qur'an, Musilms are bound to obey the Law of the land as long as it does not contradict law of the God.

This law does not contradict the law of the God as Allah almighty hasn't made it "unIslamic" or "illegal" for the husband to seek permission from his wife for second or third marriage.

Moreover, in Islam marriage is a civil contract and any conditions can be added to the contract at the time of marriage. As the husband while signing the nikahnama accepts the pre-condition that he won't marry another woman without the permission of the council/first wife, if he marries another woman without permission he not only violates the law of the land but also commits a sin

Finally, this law had been challenged in the Federal Shariat Court of Pakistan and the apex Shariat Court dismissed the petition stating that there was absolutely nothing unIslamic about this law .... What's all the fuss about ?

It's against ALLAH's law and sorry Muslims are not bound to follow it and it has only resulted in social evils where either first wife gets divorced and thrown out of house or even murdered. And no unislamic clause can be added. This dumb law is only busy destroying lives and taking lives rather than resolving anything
