MALDIVES SUPPORTING INDIA AT OIC!

With all due respect, Pakistan is now FAR TOO powerful to be concerned with what Saudi Arabia, Iran and Afghanistan think about us. Makes no difference.

So you have become far too powerful. It seems that you have mistaken isolation for power. If you were powerful you would be like the US or Russia but you are not even remotely close. But you are delusional for sure.

Keeping Pakistan`s economic situation aside,Arabs will never let any AJMI country become the leader of muslim world, they believe in their racial superiority!
Iranians dream of bringing their empire back thus they won`t want Pak to rise!!!! Afghanis are just opportunists......

Arab betrayal during the Ottoman era is a classic example of how disgusting and rotten things can get.

Arab nations like UAE and KSA don't care about their own. The Palestinians have been abandoned and left to rot. They have absolutely zero sympathy with Pakistan. This is no rocket science.

Iranians are also a very different breed. Racial superiority is a big thing among our Persian neighbors. The Iranians like the Israelis have a superiority complex. Even when the Mullahs reign in Tehran.

Maldives, which, asserted that it was incorrect to single out India for promoting Islamophobia had alerted India ahead of the meet that Pakistan would rake the issue. This prompted India to launch diplomatic efforts to blunt Pakistan’s moves, ET has reliably learnt.
NEW DELHI: Maldives initiated move to oppose Pak's rant against India at the recent Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) meet in UN had other backers from within the body signalling India’s growing stature in the Islamic World.

ET has learnt that Saudi Arabia and UAE (once traditional Pak allies) backed the stand taken by Maldives signifying expanding ties between Delhi and Riyadh and Abu Dhabi respectively. Oman, India's oldest strategic partner in the Gulf region, is believed to have stated at the meet that the discourse is part of India’s internal affairs, according to informed sources.

Number of other countries from OIC did not respond to Pakistan’s initiative led by its PR in the United Nations. Interestingly UAE’s decision to back India drew a backlash from Pak-based social media. UAE chaired the virtual meeting of the permanent representatives (PR) in UN of OIC member states that took place on 19 May.

Pakistan’s PR to UN, Munir Akram, wanted to form a “small informal working group” to take collective action against India at the United Nations in wake of the “rising” Islamophobia in India. However, UAE rejected this demand of Pakistan and stated that forming of any new working group will only happen after it has been approved by all the foreign ministers of OIC member countries.

Maldives, which, asserted that it was incorrect to single out India for promoting Islamophobia had alerted India ahead of the meet that Pakistan would rake the issue. This prompted India to launch diplomatic efforts to blunt Pakistan’s moves, ET has reliably learnt.

According to sources, Pakistan’s move was backed by Turkey as part of Ankara's strategy to oppose Saudi-UAE dominance in the OIC. However, Malaysia which had earlier joined ranks with Turkey and formed an alliance of sorts to oppose the traditional influence of Saudi Arabia and the UAE in the OIC did not back Pakistan with same vigour as in the past. Malaysian position has softened.

Under the former Malaysian PM, the Pakistan-Malaysia-Turkey triangle has utilised platforms including the UN last year to oppose India. Last December, Malaysia had organised an Islamic Conference despite opposition from Saudi Arabia. Pakistan, however, had backed out at the last moment following pressure from Riyad.

This is the reason why Pakistan will & should form alliance with Turkey & Malaysia and ditch OIC, which is a most useless forum in the first place, as it couldnt raise voice and concern for people of Palestinian & Kashmir. What have they done for the Muslims? Absolute zilch.

Pakistan, Turkey & Malaysia alliance had threatened KSA and UAE (and many others as well) as a new Muslim alliance (still remember how KSA and UAE blackmailed Pakistan, due to which, Pakistan had to pullout from Malaysia summit, which Mr. Erdogan revealed latter), and apparently it seems like it has been halted. However, I hope there is work going on in the background.

There is no denying that Pakistan is in every sense closest to Turkey. Not only historically, but also in every other respect. Our thinking is aligned and we feel the same. That cannot be said for Arab nations nor Iran. There is no connection. Both are engulfed in superiority complexes. Both want to impose one another. Both don't think unity, but rather ruling the roost. It is all about power and dominance.

I would love to see Pakistan break away from IOC. It has little to no significance.

Maldives? The Indian vassal? UAE ? The Indian sweatshop? Indians are howling as usual over entirely predictable outcomes.

Pakistan is well aware of the machinations of geopolitics and indeed, hitherto, Pakistani governments didn't even have the gall to flag up hindutva, indian radicalism or the genocide of kashmiris on various global platforms. The discussion itself is an achievement. The inevitable usual suspects have folded entirely as per routine behavioural algorithms.

Lip service is nevertheless obviously a bonus and would have been a welcome bonus.

Meanwhile the true allies of Pakistan have made themselves known by quiet and pointed action in Ladakh.

Indians can howl at the moon all night long but they never seem to learn that it will not answer back.
