fortunately sri lanka was smart enough to not allow the chinese navy to use hambota port. The maldivian voters were also smart enough to reject the chinese stooge yameen. Even pakistan is reconsidering several CPEC projects. Not to mention malaysia, indonesia, and Singapore have all rejected Chinese projects. It is clear that chinese influence in SE and South Asia is falling like a poorly built house of cards.
Yeah sure, they are attempting to come out. But they are already in deep financial crisis due to Chinese loans and propping up of corrupt leaders in these countries.
The Nepal example is the chinese backing the maoists in Nepal - a bunch of loonies out to kill.
