No I'm talking about the link where it said Malaysia is planning to negotiate for more additional pfizers & covax schemes that has pretty much nothing to do with malaysia.

Our minister said "Stop Order", Western Media writes "Stop Using".

The information is inside the news, the title doesn't matter. Trolls like you shouldn't post.

Read the news 1st before u post. The 1st link said that it has received order from Sinovac & Reuters confirm this & the second link u post confrims that the malaysian are ordering more pfizers.

So thx for proving me right I guess?..... In a roundabout way.

Khairy also dismissed all rumours from various parties that the country’s decision to stop using the Sinovac vaccines was allegedly due to the concerns over the vaccine’s efficacy.

“I have seen much speculation on why we had to stop using Sinovac but it is only because we have received our entire delivery,” he said during the press conference on the NCIP development last Friday.

He also noted that Pharmaniaga is aware that in any contingency, the government may call them to produce more vaccines as they have the fill-and-finish facility here in Malaysia.

According to the minister, the government had procured 15 million doses of Sinovac vaccines in total.

This includes an extra three million doses that the government had recently ordered, which Khairy said will be delivered by the end of July or early August.

Previously, Khairy had stated that the delivery of Sinovac vaccines was to last until November, but the government had requested for it to be brought forward to accelerate the country’s vaccination programme.

Nope didn't say about switching to Pfizer. He meant Malaysia already bought the vaccine till November, but China fast forward emergency delivered the vaccine. And that was in July 18 news. The second article already mentioning of buying more Sinovac, which contradicts what you said, August 2nd news.

Here another one 7 August.

I guess you didn't read the title of "if needed" or this little gem:
He also noted that Pharmaniaga is aware that in any contingency, the government MAY call them to produce more vaccines as they have the fill-and-finish facility here in Malaysia.
Sinovac vaccines will be procured if needed (themalaysianreserve.com)

Also none of this proves the article wrong, except the languages other news media uses especially about Sinovac efficacy.

“After that, we under PICK will use the Pfizer vaccine. We will keep the additional doses as buffer doses for those who have anaphylaxis and unable to receive Pfizer vaccine,” Khairy added.

Despite Efficacy Concerns, Malaysia Not Mixing Sinovac Vaccines With Pfizer Or AstraZeneca | CodeBlue (galencentre.org)

Khairy also said from August onwards, the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines will be the main ones to be used in vaccination centres (PPVs) for the NCIP.

Also again this your sources that confirms this so again what are you even proving?

Cause Malaysia had 4 months of vaccine supply. Of course during that time Malaysia don't need to order anymore thanks to China flooding Malaysia with vaccine. No need place to store?

The point is that malaysia will choose pfizers after they done with sinovac so this still proves me rights.
Malaysia isn't stupid that stupid, he already said:

“But we are monitoring developments in other parts of the world to get real-world data on the effectiveness of heterologous vaccination.”

This article is writen on July 16, no mention of 39% Pfizer efficacy and supply concern due third shot by US and Israel. Even my doctor friend no longer get vaccine Pfizer from the government vaccine program. And yes, right now Malaysia is now has crippling Covid 19 cases, you want us to wait for Pfizer? Switching fully to Pfizer is idiotic and fantasy by westerners.

The point is that everyone knows you and your favorite U.S. state propaganda mouthpices are knowingly lying and claiming things that were not said and not confirmed at all, by using quotemining, deliberately false and ambigious paraphrasing in your primary propaganda sources, only to follow up with deliberately false claims in secondary propaganda sources and with paid shills, picking up and parotting your own disinformation.

The didnt "drop" Sinovac just like they didnt "drop" Pfizer just because the delivery was made. They are still using it.
They didn't say they would "stop" using Sinovac, they said the opposite. They will use whatever they have.
They already clarified that specifically your "speculation" (lies) are simply false.
They already clarified that they are open to Sinovac and may procure more. Which liars like you dismissed as just a probability, when that very statement alone contradicts your lies about a "stop", a drop or anything you suggest about shunning the vaccine that you pull out of your behind..

They said the have currently X and Y in stock and. Y > X and X is scheduled to run out faster than Y, so Y will become defacto the primary stock. Nothing more. No word about stopping X. Not words about dropping X. You just added all these lies on top, because we all know you seriously hate China and your beloved regime puts unfair and malicious busines practices like this kind of slander and disinformation proudly on its resume. Nevermind straight out meddling to prevent use of perfectly fine and competitive Chinese products simply out of foreign poltical pressure, unrelated to all the American fake rethoric and lies about Chinese product quality or safety.

Sinovac only serves as a contingency Most of the vaccines past August will be Pfizers & some will be Astra-zeneca

“Pfizer will not be the only supply, but will be the most used vaccine from August onwards under PICK. This has got nothing to do with the effectiveness of Sinovac, as we will receive the entire delivery by the end of July or early August.”

Khairy also mentioned that the government will have a bilateral discussion with Thailand to get AstraZeneca vaccines from the country and avoid a delay of vaccine deliveries caused by Thailand’s export block.

As a contingency plan, Khairy said Pharmaniaga will supply additional Sinovac doses to the government, while the country will also receive new vaccines like Sinopharm and Johnson & Johnson, both of which have been approved by local drug regulators.

If sinovac was that effective why do you think malaysia orders more Pfizers? What's your logic seriously.

Yeah they going to use it till the stock run out which still doesn't contradict the article & for good reason because there's an increase of cases from the vaccinated people.

A total of 20,684 breakthrough infections among partially or fully vaccinated people, 16% of 132,748 Covid-19 cases, were reported from July 26 to August 2; about 99% of the breakthrough cases were in Categories One to Three.

Malaysia Vaccine Breakthrough Cases Rise, 99% Mild Covid-19 | CodeBlue (galencentre.org)

Also efficacy wise Sinovac is still crap with only 50% effective even against baseline corona compared to pfizers seeing there is no country adopting Sinovac when Pfizers or something better are available.

From who.int
Based on information provided by the manufacturer, the CoronaVac vaccine has shown to be 51% effective against symptomatic infection. It was also shown to be 100% effective against hospitalization and severe disease.
A widely used COVID-19 vaccine that's at least 50% effective will help control the pandemic.

Everybody already knows that Inactivated virus vaccine is less potent than mRNA vaccine. So whats your point? The fact sinovac is still potent.

You wasted my time. Congrats. @waz, close the thread. He kept posting outdated news as proof. I'm not going to feed the troll anymore.

KUALA LUMPUR, July 23 — Sinovac’s Covid-19 vaccine will continue to be used in state-run and private inoculation programmes, Khairy Jamaluddin said today, since supply to the federal government has been fully delivered.

The vaccine minister clarified today that the supply of the Sinovac vaccine has not been discontinued in Malaysia, though orders made by the government have been fulfilled by Sinovac Biotech Ltd’s local distributor, Pharmaniaga Bhd.

“Sinovac has not been discontinued from the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK). The supply of Sinovac has been completely delivered to the federal government. That is why the total number of Sinovac vaccines that will be distributed in PICK will be lower,” Khairy told a media briefing.

“We have not pulled out Sinovac from the national programme. The impression that has been given is as though Sinovac is no longer favoured in PICK, no. Pharmaniaga has delivered all its contractual supply of vaccines to the federal government.

“In fact, we’ve added a few new orders from Pharmaniaga, and that’s why the announcement was made that Sinovac will slowly be phased out from PICK because they finished giving their supplies. So, this matter shouldn’t arise.”

On the private sale of Sinovac’s Covid-19 vaccine, Khairy said the central administration has agreed early on to open the market for vaccine sales so that the national target can be achieved quicker, once federal orders are fulfilled.

“That’s why in the month of August, there will be pharmaceutical companies who will have access to supplies of vaccine, who will be able to offer this in the private market.

“The JKJAV (Special Committee for Ensuring Access to COVID-19 Vaccine Supply) that is co-chaired by Health Minister Dr Adham Baba and myself will meet next week to decide on the guidelines of the private sale of vaccines, including a ceiling price so that these vaccines are not sold at too high a price in Malaysia,” Khairy said.

Separately, Khairy also clarified that the government does not issue physical copies of digital Covid-19 vaccination cards to those who have been inoculated.

“There is only the MySejahtera digital certificate that can be printed from the JKJAV website, that is all, as well as the vaccination card given at the vaccination centres (PPVs). Nothing else,” Khairy said.

Why replace Sinovac with Pfizer when the American vaccine is equally crapped.

End up the same outcome but spends more money. Just stick with Sinovac.

.
Pfizer has very short shelf life, less than a month compared to 6+ months for Sinovac. The ones Malaysia got from US donation are expired ones, not useful at all and will instead damage bodies.
