Unlike what you and some people think here, it is Chinese people who claim superiority over Malays (for real) in Malaysia. I witnessed the same thing that happens in Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and Taiwan. It is Chinese who are like that towards other East Asians.
They generally refuse to mix with nations in those countries where they migrate or migrated, that is strange for example..

I visited temples, churches and weeding of all races, can the Malay - Muslim do the same? I can speak Malay very well. I eat in a Malay shop.

Naturally natives of those countries feel threatened by that really fast growing Chinese population and influence in their countries.

Tell me how will Chinese interventionism protect its interests , and in fomenting better relations with ASEAN nations, in the region ? Pray do tell. I'm in the position that interventionism will only further increase aversion within the region to China's ambitions, yes?

My previous posts pertain to how I see the future Asian geo-strategic landscape, one in which China is significantly more powerful than it currently is. With greater power itself will bring inherent soft power and how the region views China. China will increasingly become more important to every other nation in the region, both for trade and security, as countries move closer and align to a more powerful China. My comments are in the context of a sinocentric Asia of the future.

In any hypothetical scenario, involving China and one of its neighbours, the context and justification for any move is on a per country basis. My previous comments are not targeted at one particular neighbour. Any intervention should be given due consideration based on the merit of a given scenario. The form the intervention is not solely restricted to boots on the ground and bombs being dropped. It could equally be by covert means and backing of colour revolutions. China will have many military and economic options available to them in any future confrontation with a troublesome neighbour.

How the rest of Asia reacts to an assertive China of the future is pure speculation. I have my opinions and am happy with them and you are free to see it however you wish to.

No idea, in my opinion Najib is ruthless. From Altantuya shaariibuu and possibly Najadi. If UMNO predicted fall, ringgit will fall because cronies will need to siphon the money out.

Chinese or Hua, or Cina, Sino or Sina, all these are nationality concept not race. Race is Han, Manchurian, Mongol, Hui, Tajik...

I live in China, my nationality is Chinese, Hua, Sino, Cina, Sina..; race is Han. Singaporean's nationality is Singaporean, race is mainly Han, Malay, Tamil.

My suggestions, you guys could consider to negotiate with your government. Change the race title Chinese into Han, Hui, Manchurian you would have been. This can avoid a lot of problem and help the race intergration. What do you think of this?

We have very high standard of living here, the world best universities(outside the U,S), the worlds most powerful passport(along with the U.S) which allows me to travel to any country on earth at ease/when i want and with great respect etc etc. So why will i leave my own country to live/seek a better overseas??LOOL No, apart from spending holidays in other countries and visiting for leisure/pleasure, i don't see anything i can envy from others which i cant have/don't have here.

By the way, you should be the one staying in your own country , which is an 'upcoming superpower' according to many, instead of seeking a better life/study//living in a declining west.

This has nothing to do with us being called Chinese. Echoes of master race, where servants were given free citizenship need to stop.

Well i lost my very good uncle few weeks ago. I suspect the U.S might be behind his death, as i have often said some things that weren't always favorable to the U.S. i believe they are targeting my family because of that.

Chinese or Cina is nationality not race. When we leave China, give up nationality, it's better to receive new nationality, to Malaysia, Malaysian; to Singapore, Singaporean, because China don't accept dual-nationality. But race Han is unchangeable. Hakka is not race, Hakka is a part of Han.
