Malala Yousafzai Wins Nobel Peace Prize for Pakistan.

She is not here facing them her father took her away Mr Edhi is in Pakistan for past 60 years helping orphans old people sick people even face threats stood his ground not ran away like cowardly she was 14 her father is around 50 so cut the crap
She ran away because she was shot in the head, and the group that did so continues to exist in Pakistan. Her father took her away as any loving father would, given those circumstances - and not keep her in that maniac ridden place.

Watch out! Many Taliban sympathizers axzxz start get burn:crazy: congrats another Nobel prize for home.
They've started, as you can see on this thread.

Amusingly, in the current list of members viewing this thread, every single one is an Indian. Oh well.

Well, they were right. Pakistan abandoned the people of Swat in 2006, when they let the bearded weirdos establish their writ in Swat, and those people brought primitive laws and traditions to the place, stopping girls from getting educations, and flogging women in public. It was the misfortune of the people residing there to be so abandoned by their country.

And "traitor" is s concept towards a particular nation. For me, the more important thing is that she stood for human rights. Humanity comes before nationality.

Nobel Prize for peace always served some political purpose.
Just think about it for sometime ,you will get these case also both of them.
It is Of course both Malala and Kailash are deserved it.
But then most deserved person was our nations father Mahatma Gandhi. Those who followed his path won Nobel and other status. Those who shot film about his biography got Oscar. But he didnt get any thing.

Dude, I agree he should have got (they agree too) but he achieved things greater than what a nobel can give. Nobel is not perfect and they say that too, but they are always trying to do better, for instance gross injustices were done in not giving Tolstoy and Conrad the Literature prize. Sully Purdhome- nobody knows. ANother big miss was James Joyce. But then they also recognized Yeats and Eliot and Martin Luther King and so on. All who deserves.

Well the Nobel Peace Prize Committee have time an again expressed their deep regret over this controversy -

Norwegian Nobel Committee in 2006 said, "The greatest omission in our 106 year history is undoubtedly that Mahatma Gandhi never received the Nobel Peace prize. Gandhi could do without the Nobel Peace prize, whether Nobel committee can do without Gandhi is the question". It even Quoted that through his course of life, had put his profound mark on an ethical and political attitude which would prevail as a norm for a large number of people both inside and outside India: "In this respect Gandhi can only be compared to the founders of religions."

Mahatma Gandhi, the Missing Laureate

It is also noteworthy that Gandhi didn't get the Bharat Ratna as well - Yes, he achieved things greater than what any prize can fetch him.....

Also, in 1948 they did not award the Nobel peace prize to anybody, since Gandhi died that year. They were silentlyy admitting that they were prevented from awarding it to the one who deserved it most, due to British pressure.

I hope now the ban on Malala's book...I am Malala will be removed.

Many Congrats to her & a Proud moment for Pakistan ineed dont want to take the credit away from her, But Why not Abdul Sattar Eidhi ? who have been working tirelessly almost whole his life to support & help needy people and also running one of the biggest Ambulance Service... A girl living in UK, instead of Pakistan winning Nobel Peace Prize. Whole this Nobel thing is jus a JOKE

Because Edhi has not done anything for them. Malal's father has.
