well they do have interest if you got oil/gas they bringing ngo, human rights and democrazy to you by funding civil war. Then united nation peace troops will come at later stage to help the victims to be fooled into believing this genuine help from western world. This doesn't look like operation against militants. First Burma have denied native Rohingas citizenship since 1982. Now they in the name of operation forced large number of Rohingas to move to BD and not in other parts of Burma. This is genocide going on plain and simple. Burma want to expel all Rohingas permanently from their native lands.

I am pretty sure China does not support the killing of the muslims ethnic, however China does prioritises its relationship with burma more. Remember that butma is also killing ethnic Chinese peoples in kokang, yet China still supports burma, so why would China randomly go against burma to save islamist when they don't eveb do it for their own? Fact is China see these minorities as "expandable", China does not support the killings of the various minorities, however they can turn a blund eye to it because Burma is more important to Chinas survival as a state!
