Why do they lack will?

Are they not concerned on those deaths ?

Its a lot more ' rewarding' to stand aside & criticize anything that anyone else does rather than do anything yourself.

This would be evident from the nature & type of replies one reads on this thread.

But then such people should not call others as Hypocrites which they always do.

And NO its not just a bollywood second third janam fiction story. Its reality and we dont want any Indian cheap fiction based masala in it

How do we know whether he took permission or not. You can call Amjad Khan and ask him. Are we his personal secretary.
Bdw no point in hue and cry here. Even abusing Indians won't help. The fact of the matter is the film will be released worldwide, at least in Europe, US, Russia, Australia etc other than India and that will be more than enough.

Why bother to come to a chor country then? and what's the meaning of a chor country btw? the terrorists of Pakistan are getting a raw deal in India - they get killed - is what you mean?

do whatever in ur power to stop it. if u cant do anything abt it , then plz keep ur pie hole shut.

on topic : its heartening to see that Indians are picking up varied subjects for film making. as our neighbors often point out, very crudely sometimes, that Bollywood is all about song n dance n dumba$$ story lines, i feel things are finally changing for good.
moreover, knowledge about Pakistan among the Indian youth is abysmally low. such insufficient knowledge of ppl across the border makes them vulnerable to the hawks who know nothing else but spewing venom. Pakistani films such as khuda ke liye, bol, ramchand pakistani etc can be great eye openers.
to skeptics : before going over the top about quality of Indian movies, try to hold on ur horses and see what kind of movie it turns out to be. contrary to the fears of our neighbors, our daily lives are not revolving around destroying them.
moreover, if u have a little patience and see the fields/ topics on which the director has worked, then u can salvage a little hope that he is not there to churn out another song n dance routine.

See frankly speaking I don't know if he took permission. There's no news about that till now. So only when it comes up in news everyone of us will get to know. Also I can say if anyone is giving verdict they might be giving it from perception as there's no official news on it. So where you stand, even I stand there and probably its applicable to others as well.

@Spring Onion:

There are no reasons to believe that before stepping into such a big project the makers of this film won't take consent from Ms.Malala and her family. Making a movie on somebody without taking his/her approval is unethical and much head ache to the producer, the project would fall into legal entanglement if Ms.Malala or her family suits a case against the filmmakers. So this is unlikely that Amjad Khan would take that risk.
So why not give your query a little rest for a while and wait for further news to come?

It's a movie based on a Pakistani citizen (nothing wrong with) and a bharati (the main concern, movie will have its bias) is making the movie, we have every right so 'feel insecure'.

Absolutely! It's based on a Pakistani citizen and it should have been made by Pakistani film Industry first. But why didn't you make it ? So Bollywood got the opportunity and took it up. See man everyone in this world is an opportunist. Everyone knows this fact. And if someone contradicts this, he/she is lying outright.

:cuckoo:

You call names to a country and its people without having anything to back it up with????

You came up with "chor bollywood" and when I mentioned all those Pakistani actors and singers queuing up to work in bollywood you come up with "chor country"?

Is Malala or the scores of your artists or singers even remotely concerned about what you think or say about India or bollywood?

The title gives an impression that real Mallala was an actress from Bangladesh.:cheesy:

If her story can inspire handful of hardliners/ terrorists to give up arms that will be an achievement.

Cmon...if that were to be the case Americans would be firing DVDs from drones. You may not agree, but these film makers are trying to cash in on her fame.

True!
But try to see beyond what other can make out of what they are doing. Think about it in Pakistan's perspective. You guys must make a big deal of her story and use it to inspire new generation

If Americans make this kind of film, the Pakistani Talibans, who must be in millions, will threat the Cinema Halls throughout the world with bombing.

Well all these ifs and buts are assumptions once again.

There is alot in the media about the movie and even the actress is selected so why isnt there any news about permission/consent of Malala and Family? And why no details of how much money she will be paid for the copy rights over her true story?

This is my right to ask the question till there isnt any answer or information about this point.

NOTE: Did Indians take permission from Malala for making a film on her? and do they also intend to pay her for that?

If NOT Malala should file a case

Why should all of India take permission? Not Indians, just the director Amjad Khan. Most of us Indians who are Hindus dont really care about Pakistan, so the last thing on our list would be paying some random Pakistani girl... the director is a muslim and has nothing to do with us indians majority of whom are hindus
