May their souls rest in peace!

What I can't understand: Aren't there SOPs that lay down procedures for securing stretches of roads to be used by the Forces whilst moving in convoys? There have been a number of ambushes in Balochistan and other areas where soldiers have died. The same goes for the CRPF men who were being killed at regular intervals in Maoist hit areas whilst moving in convoys.

There is a procedure called, 'Road Opening' where troops take up positions at varying distances, depending on the terrain, along the entire route before the movement of convoys. If this procedure was being followed, then such ambushes could have been avoided, saving the lives of troops.

I don't think our military doesn't believe in such tactics. Or they don't care about soldier's life. That's why they didn't send any reinforcements in this hours long fight. Who cares if some soldier from some poor family dies in some part of Pakistan.

those having interests of instability of Balochistan and pakistan........

very well said, this got to be the best answer for a "potentially" flame bait question

anyone who is interested in disturbing the peace and not letting the public live a peaceful life and the officials work with peace of mind. when doctors and professors are routinely rounded up and shot dead. When the passengers are marched out of the busses and then executed (whether Baloch or not Baloch) then it only helps the anarchists and makes the job of the law enforcement agencies even harder.

To be specific, BLA takes pride in killing the “traitors” and dumping their bodies like the South American drug cartels for all to see as a warning but despite these drive by shootings people carry on with their lives. There is not much to do anyway so they keep coming to construction sites for casual labour. People have a very philosophical approach to that despite their educational level, they say, too bad someone died but better him than me. Sometimes the assailant walks back and joins the crowd to have a look at his “kill” and then walks away when the ambulance staff or police tells people to move along.

If this is the truth than its very disturbing and alarming , why SO SO much hate ? Why BLA choose such tactics , this wont lead them any where except more murder ... why is it so hard to comprehend for them

we should start a military crack down there and start doing punblic executions on these terrorist . you defeat them we have to kill their mind

14 killed? Thats too much.
14 trained soldiers fell to some random angry tribes men..There has to be a major security lapse in the operation..

RIP to the dead, may your souls be at peace for ever...

Wonder why arent any political parties are making any effort to bring these people on the table ... !!?

No need to bring these mofos on table, crush them brutally. Declare emergency in province & give time & vehicles to innocent civilians to leave the battle land. Seal the borders of province tight, launch final crush & use old fighters, battle tanks, helicopters etc. Leave no terrorist & crush them brutually without any mercy, no court trials just crush them.

For God sake, Pakistan have a big mighty army but it is question mark on them that in these 60 years they keep sleeping. Why continue to give troubles for coming generations, just crush & finish terrorist p1g's & close this chapter.

IG FC should resign. Where were the reinforcements when all this was happening? What was the security plan for such convoy? The pathetic part isn't soldiers were killed in this incident but pathetic part is that nobody cares about them.

Inna Lillah e Wa Inna Eleh e Rajeoon.

Rest In Peace brave souls.

Death to elites, polititions & p1g terrorist. From 60+years Army elites haven't clear the province:hitwall: keep delaying for coming generation. Awam need to protest & demand for final operation in that beautiful province of Pakistan.

It was well co-ordinated attack. Those soldiers were protecting chamlang mines which is a mountainous area having high peaks and grounds . Assailants might had a high ground plus there might be some snipers with them also. Combine snipers, Mortars High ground and 50-100 Attackers, We will definitely get a higher causality rate.

if we do as they are doing then whats the difference between a soldier and a terrorist?
actually BLA will love to see that happen and hope that some innocent civilains get caught in the crackdown so that they can sell i their cause and justify their terrorism.

Whatever it was but where were the reinforcements. It went on for hours and no bloody reinforcement was their. And none of the attackers were killed or arrested. This is highly pathetic.

Well something happened In Chitral, in NW 2009 where Helicopter helped the soldiers but it was late too. We can thought, the area where 14 soldiers martyred might be inaccessible through roads and only helicopter can reach there.

Yeah.. Do that.. With well wishers like you, Pakistan's enemies really dont have to do much.. Do they ?? :hitwall:
