Korean automobiles are quite popular here in India and hence have good demand. Acquiring a Korean company will enable us to fund their stranded R&D as well in both civilian and possibly military automobile sector.

Mahindra needs to improve the look of their vehicles (Tata's been producing some good cars now), unfortunately SSangyong vehicles are butt ugly (except for one concept model)

On the bright side though, Mahindra will get their hands on some good engine tech
