Actually the funny thing is that Sakshi was talking about the offending Madrassas in her region only! It was not meant to include all Madrassas at all.

No, we are better off without a strict reconversion protocol. We ask people, and if they are willing they leave their current faith and revert to their older customs and traditions. The only legal formality is the change of names.

In controversial remarks, BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj on Sunday alleged that Madrassas were giving "education of terrorism". "Education of terrorism is being given in madrassas. They (madrassas)... are making them terrorists and jihadis....It is not in national interest," the MP from Unnao constituency told reporters in Nademau in Kannauj district, 120 km from here.

He alleged that students were not being taught about nationalism in the religious schools. "Tell me about one madrassa where tricolour is hoisted even on August 15 and January 26," he said. The MP said madrassas "which have no connection with nationalism" are being given Government aid.

"Most of our schools do not take the aid but it is being given to madrassas having no connection with nationalism," he said. The Samajwadi Party denounced Sakshi's "hate speech", saying it was an attempt to create division among communities. "Sakshi has given a hate speech which is aimed towards creating differences in the society," SP spokesman Rajendra Chaurdhary said. Earlier, during a programme in Etah on September 7, Sakshi had reportedly labelled madrassas as "hub of terror" and alleged that 'love jihad' prospers through such institutions. 'Love Jihad' is the term used by right wing Hindu outfits while referring to alleged conversion of Hindu girls through marriage.

The MP is right in some way.

KENDRAPADA: A priest of Madhukeshari Temple allegedly raped a 16-year-old girl on its premises at Chakoda village under Dharmasala police limits in Jajpur district on Monday.

The survivor's mother lodged an FIR, alleging that Rabindra Panda, 35, raped her minor daughter.

According to IIC of Dharmasala police station Sudrashan Dash, Panda raped the girl when she went to the temple to have prasad.

The girl was taken to community health centre at Dharmasala where doctors after medical examination told police that she was raped. Doctors said there were injury marks on her person and private parts. The girl was shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack after her condition deteriorated.

Police rushed to the village to nab the accused, but he managed to flee. Police filed a case under Section 376 ( rape) of IPC and Sections 4 and 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. "We are conducting raids to arrest him," said the police officer.

What's wrong with what she said? We all know what happened when there was tension in Muzaffarnagar. Weapons were found stashed in mosques there. Why are weapons needed in a holy place?

See, the time is to introspect and reform. Though the lady here put it rather brazenly, it is true.

Sensible people of all communities should come together and work out a solution for this. It is important to check elements that misguide young kids.

No one is born evil. Children are impressionable and therefore should not be taught radicalization in madrassas.

There will not be any difference when people from different nationality will speak one truth. When it comes to discussion on peace in Pakistan, Many members recommend Ban on Madrasa. When we say that, they say that we are against minority.

Can you tell me which madrassa Prasad Shrikant Purohit or Swami Aseemanand went to?-

They are innocent. NIA, CBI could not find any proof. Charges dropped and he is on bail in another case.
