Otherwise go ask a person who is employed in private sector. Weather he pay 11% or 50% and if state return the money for the period person is unemployed.
Than go to Sweden and Ireland and ask them what is the tax rate of a person, who earn $1000 a month and feed 5 family members.
Than again come back to Pakistan and count the population of Pakistan and see how much tax revenue state collect in total, than again go back to Sweden and compare the welfare system and infrastructure, with Pakistan and than come back here and delete your post.

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan said that State of Madina established by Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was a guiding principle for the people of all ages as it had not merely focused the betterment of Muslims but the whole humanity.

In his message to the countrymen on Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) being celebrated on Sunday to mark the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the prime minister said Islam had introduced the concept of first welfare state in the human history which was executed by the Holy Prophet and his companions.

He said the high principles being followed by today’s modern welfare states had already been practiced by the Holy Prophet by establishing State of Madina in the age of darkness and the deteriorating society.

Moreover, the companions of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) further enriched this concept through ensuring justice and equality in their respective tenures which was the golden chapter of the world history.

Congratulating the people and the Muslim Ummah on Eid Milad-un-Nabi, the prime minister said the Holy Prophet was the embodiment of high morals who had started preaching Islam after getting recognition as truthful and honest.

He said the Holy Prophet (PBUH) had never told lie nor breached the trust. He had not only accepted the norms of other religions but also committed to adhere to those at the time when one could not imagine so.

The prime minister said the Holy Prophet (PBUH), through his good governance, had established such a welfare state that had guaranteed equal rights to everyone besides giving religious freedom to all the citizens.

These were the golden principles of the State of Madina which did not exist in any state of that era, he added.

As far as I have read Prophet Muhammad literally drove away the Jews of Banu Qurayzah from Medina and ordered the execution of 800 Jews in Medina. How was Medina a welfare state then? Please kindly enlighten me as I lack knowledge on this particular topic.

According to Jewish rule if you broke a pact allthe able bodied males of that tribe will be executed.

But as a prophet he could have saved the Jews. I thought Quran was successor of the Torah.

only what can be established with proof or logic can be authenticated.
While logic goes against the claim you mentioned.
I would not dare attribute anything to messenger of Allah or Islam, without having 100% confirmation.

They broke the pact; conspired with foreign invaders. They were not even asked to fight alongside Muslims. They were just supposed to remain neutral, they even did not do that and conspired with tribes.
When asked how should they be dealt with, their leader asked that they be judged as per the Torah, which they were. What they got was the punishment for treachery written in their own holy scripture and conformed to the norms of that time as well.

Islamic state is not a soft state. There are rules and regulations which must be followed. Crimes are punished for the purpose of deterrence.

If Mr. Khan is serious on this, he should look at example states in the modern world which have been welfare states : pre-2011 Libya, Cuba, Venezuela etc.

You want to compare tax to GDP ratio of a poor country with rich country,... this is insane.
Actually you are sharing nonsense, which PTI media cell want to spread around.

If PTI had any good intentions, they would compare tax rate, percapita income, cost of utilities, corruption in state, etc. etc. with developed world.

In reality PTI has turned Pakistan into a banana republic, there is no transparency and no data on any thing or let's say meaning full data is not made available.

What matters in the end is quality of life, which has gone from bad to worst, ever since PTI took over.

In Pakistan if PTI only manage to provide clean water to the infants of Pakistan, i would join PTI. Roads, bridges, industry, employment, are far beyond their capacity.
