Home-Made Helicopter To Protect A Country.

An Iraqi man has invested 30 million Iraqi dinars, or $24,000 in building his own helicopter, to protect his country's borders. This man's project named 'Diyala 1' is intended to copy the abilities of a Apache attack helicopter, $20million each.

An Apache it isn't but a commendable effort anyway. For a personal attempt, it isn't half bad.

The best way for Iraq is to give the Iranians some billions of petrodollars and import the technology of drone, ships, MANPAD and helicopter and ....
Kudos to the man and his will power though!

Maliki has told US that Iraq prefers US to Iran unless US does not support its unity anymore. So far, US has been a supporter of Maliki. Iraq and Afghanistan are the only places that US and Iran have the same opinions.

The engine looks like something out of a scooter, the helicopter looks heavy. I doubt it will be able to actually have enough power to lift off the ground. The rotor blades look like they could disintegrate.

Whoever desides to pilot this machine is brave. Good luck to them.
