Russians waiting for the new product of IranKhodro
PersianKhodro: production plant of Belarus has the ability to produce Runna and Dena

According to PersianKhodro, Habbib allah Mohammadi Chahaki , deputation of industrial group CEO in Russia in Belarus, said :” we should notice that that from July 2011 a Customs area were established between Kazakhstan , Russia and Belarus and after preparation of second phase of UNISON’s production plant we can enjoy the benefits of area like elimination of Customs duties and we hope that besides the exportations from Iran, our products will be imported from Belarus to Russia too .
He continued :” Industrial group of IranKhodro in the past 2 years despite the crisis outside of the country, has begun to create new infrastructures and by reducing or removing costs, has made Samand production plant in Belarus more active . “
Mohammadi said that production plant of Belarus has the ability to produce Runna and Dena alongside the Samand and added :” It should be done after confirmation of IranKhodro’s industrial group CEO . “
He also said :” capacity of UNISON’s production plant in a work shift is 5 thousand units in a year but Belarus market is small and we are looking to export these vehicles to CIS area .”
He added :” we also try to gain certificate standards of Russia to export some of our Samand units to this country . “
Mohammadi said that one of the most important works that has been done in Belarus by IranKhodro industrial group is reducing the Customs and logistic costs and continued :” after localization of parts, the cost of transportation and Customs will be reduced and the profit would be awarded to IranKhodro. “
While appreciating the supports of Najm al-Din , he pointed out :” the way that CEO of IranKhodro industrial group looks toward this production plant is very intelligent and scientific, as in the past 2 years after revision of some IranKhodro’s policies and operating the needed infrastructures, the way for exporting is open and clear.“
He emphasized :” the Russian market in joining WTO and it’s the best opportunity for IranKhodro to sell their vehicles.”
Mohammadi described the Russian market “appropriate” for Samand, Runna and Dena and said :” Russian consumers are waiting for IranKhodro’s new products because the last product (Samand) is spacious and efficient which is welcomed by Russian families among the vehicles below 20 thousand dollars.“
He said :” by gaining the standard certificate of Russia in 2011, we hope to satisfy 30 to 40% orders of Russia people by Belarus production site in 2012.”
Finally, he added :” we will have a good market in CIS region in near future by activating the production and selling the vehicles with Euro 4 Standard .”
We should notice that 32% stocks share of Belarus UNISON is belonged to IranKhodro’s industrial group.

IranKhodro’s new product comes to market
PersianKhodro: 10000 Suren units with EF7 turbocharged engine will be produced next year and this number will increase to 20 thousand units until 5 years later.


According to PersianKhodro, Javad Najm al-Din , manager of industrial group of IranKhodro, said: “so far, 11 Suren units equipped with turbocharged engine have been produced and this number will increase to 50 until end of this year . this 50 units include 30 units for testing and industrializing and 20 units for Police and special customers .”
He stated :” with mass production of EF7 turbocharged engine in next year, this engine will be installed in Suren and Dena too .”
He said :” this engine has 1700 CC capacity and is able to deliver 215 Nm torque and 155 hp . “
He claimed that EF7 turbocharged engines have Euro4 emission standard with AOBD and said :” hard different tests will be done to this engine and to systems like gearbox , axle and brakes that have connections with motor. “
Najm al-Din counted updating the designing of engine range , changing the air entering and leaving trails of smoke , adding the intercooler to entrance air system and changing exhaust pipe as some changes that have been done after the installation of turbocharged engine and added :”you should add to this list changing the vacuum brake circuit and changing all systems for more power and higher torque.”
He added :” top speed of the Suren equipped with turbocharged engine is near 210 km/h and its 0 to 100 is 9 seconds . current Suren can go 0 to 100 in 13 seconds .”
He said that keeping the performance specs of engine in heights is one of the good features of this engine and added :” to avoid reduction of motor’s intake performance from attenuated air , pressure of injection air will be added to it with help of a compressor and the result is that torque in heights is the same to sea level. “
He stated :”in this engine alongside adding turbo , piston and improved , smoke valves and igniter ,high cylinder washer , body of cylinder and tailpipe manifold have been changed. “
He added :” all vehicle systems equipped with turbocharged engine will be tested in a 20 to 160 thousands distance in different climates and road conditions . tests like cooling , noise , brakes , ride and handling will be done in IranKhodro , but some tests that are out of Iran’s power and equipment will be done in centers out of Iran . “
He described turbocharged engine as a new technology in Iran and said :” for more compatibility with turbocharged motor , gearbox should be changed . gearbox improvement project for higher torque in turbocharged and diesel engines has been described .”

Russia : a good market for IranKhodro
PersianKhodro: CEO of UNISON, Belarusian car factory, said:” according to quality and design of IranKhodro products , this company can offer its vehicles in Russia market .

According to PersianKhodro, Dmitry Yegorov , CEO of Unison, in visiting of IranKhodro’s booth in 7th international motor show of Russia said:” Creating a single customs area between Belarus , Kazakhstan and Russia is a good opportunity for companies like IranKhodro to act easier in this area .”
He added:” After creating this single customs area, the capacity of car market will reach 2 million vehicles in a year .”
He Continued:” IranKhodro can introduce its products and sell them with good conditions by attending in motor shows of this area .”
He claimed that there are 3 factors for car factories to present their products in international markets : quality , appearance and price. He said:” Products of IranKhodro have the potential to be available in international markets. with considering cheap vehicles in international markets, car factories should pay more attention in pricing their products.”
Yegorov emphasized that cooperation between IranKhodro and Unison can lead to success for both countries in the market of commonwealth countries. He said :” Unison is ready to produce IranKhodro’s products and make them available for the market.”
He added:” Unison can produce 6000 units in a work shift of a year and IranKhodro can use this opportunity.”

Mesbah 1
Mesbah 1 is an Iranian anti aircraft artillery system developed to defend against incoming cruise missiles. It was unveiled in 2010 by Iranian defense minister Ahmad Vahidi and hit it's intended target successfully in the test. Production started some months later.

Mesbah uses 4 Iranian built Russian ZU-23-2 installed on a rotatable mount. Each autocannon has it's own feed magazine. Each ZU-23-2 has a reported fire rate of 2000 rpm. But surprisingly the whole system is reported to have a rate of 4000 rpm instead of 8000. This is probably because developers wanted it to save ammunition. The mount can rotate in different angles but the exact degrees are unknown.

The system uses Radar and IR/Optical sensors to find its target automatically. It's radar is described as a 3D flat-antenna radar with a good accuracy that finds and traces the target and gives it's position to the fire control system.

Mesbah is described being able to engage both fixed and rotatory wing aircraft and cruise missiles in low and very low altitudes. It's automatic control system makes it need less crew to operate and it's sophisticated tracking and tracing algorithms makes it able to engage small targets like incoming missiles.

HM 41 is an Iranian howitzer which claimed to be based on American M114. In appearance, it is very similar to South Korean KH179. It has a 155 mm/39 calibre barrel with a muzzle brake to lessen the recoil. According to Iranian sources, the 155 mm/39 calibre HM41 weighs 6,890 kg and firing a rocket-assisted High-Explosive (HE) projectile, a maximum range of 30,000 m can be achieved. Firing an unassisted HE projectile, a maximum range of 22,000 m can be obtained. An improvement compared to M114. The Howitzer is offered for export. But no country is known to be using it except Iran.

In 2012, Iran unveiled laser guided Basir 155 mm artillery shells which were tested by an HM 41 howitzer.
