Recently Haftar's forces have begun rampaging Tripoli and Mitiga airport with countless missiles, rockets, etc. Just yesterday, 80 strikes on Mitiga airport. Atleast 65 strikes in Tripoli. Another Turkish weapons stockpile destroyed in Misrata simultaneously. Fuel tanks and an A330 Airbus airliner damaged at Mitiga.

There are reports of Iran selling rocket, missile technology to Haftar's forces. This makes perfect sense since 1) Iran wouldn't mind the money and blunting Turkey's influence at the same time. 2) Iran is a major missile producer, Iran is very close to UAE. UAE is already transferring weapons to Haftar via Suez canal into Egypt. 3) It would be extremely easy for Iran to transfer the weapons to the UAE. Iran is closer to UAE than China or North Korea and could easily match or outbid prices.

From 2017,
It does not mean anything. Anybody in Africa can buy Mohajer 2 or Shahab 2.

1. I have a hard time seeing Iran support Haftar when Saudis are backing him too.
2. Iran is close to UAE economically, not militarily. UAE is still a puppet of Saudis fully in US sphere. I don't think there has been a single transfer of military equipment from Iran to UAE since 1979.

.
1) Iran has NOT formally or ideologically picked sides in the Libyan conflict
2) Iran and Turkey are traditional regional rivals and Iran is always looking to blunt Turkish imperialist ambitions
3) Iran needs money right now and I highly doubt it if Iran would say no to a lucrative missile rocket arms deal with Haftar, especially since UAE would be dealing with the shipment aspect via Suez
4) Iran builds missiles for cost and could easily match or outbid Chinese or North Korean prices. Other choices are either more expensive (Russia, USA), prohibitive because of sanctions/politics (China/North Korea/USA/EU) or farther away from the source (China/North Korea).

All in all Iran is an excellent candidate for sourcing a large and steady supply of effective and precise rockets, missiles and for Iran it would be too easy. Just ship to UAE and you're done.

What I'm wondering is which weapons or parts is Iran selling to Haftar's LNA ?

I don’t think Iran is stupid enough to give missiles to UAE who could easily turn them over to US for inspection.

Iran like any other county that develops advanced weapons, has various versions for various purposes. The missiles used by Iran's military itself are never exported to regional allies or proxies.

The missiles/rockets that Iran is selling to Haftar are much lower grade than the ones that Iran uses for its own military. Also the missiles that Iran uses for small scale operations (Koya, ISIS Syria strikes, recent Al Assad strikes vs USA) are different than the types that Iran would use if an all out war were to break out. When launching these small scale missile strikes for deterrence purposes, various parts/components/hardware can and does often times fall into enemy hands. Iran knows this and acts accordingly.

The same thing goes for drones, missiles that Iran gives to the Houthi's. It's the same with the USA when they export for example F-16's, they're export versions. Their own versions are far superior. So in case of a conflict, the US would easily prevail. The T-72's that the USSR exported to Saddam during the 80's were inferior to what the Soviets themselves had. Those T-72's couldn't even fire on the move, whereas the Soviet versions could hit targets several KM's away. It's the same for the Abrams tanks which the USA sells to the Saudi's, they don't use depleted Uranium for example and feature inferior sensors and hardware, which is why so many of them have easily been penetrated and destroyed by RPG-7's from the Soviet era in Yemen.
