SAIPA ROHAM: New Iranian car brand product:

Currently comes with 1.65 lit engine, 16V, 113 hp, 154 nm, Euro 5 emission standard, but soon will be equipped with the newly designed 1.2 liter super charged engine which will produce 160 hp, consuming only 4.2 l/100 km and will easily pass Euro 6 emission standard.

ROHAM is equipped with a tiptronic 6 gear automatic gearbox, 6 airbags (including curtain airbags), EBD, ABS, ESC, Uphill Assist, tire pressure monitoring, smart cruise control, two-phase Airbags, Sunroof, radar on side mirrors, electric steering wheel, engine Start/Stop Bottom, automatic A/C, 7 and 10 inch multimedia screen system, rear parking assist and radar and other features.

Target price is not official yet but according to latest announcements Roham will cost us something between 6000 to 7000 USD which means its market competitors must be worried from now on.

Next product which is based on a larger Saipa platform: Three types will be available (Sedan, Station, Compact SUV)

is it really made by IKCO or Saipa ? Could it be a rebrand/rebatch Chinese or Korean car? It does not look like any Kia or Hyundai model that I have seen.

Look at Briliance brand . but they have promised to use a new super charged engine (well right now its just a promise.) And the gearbox is Hyundai.

I hope you mean turbo charged... superchargers are only really used on American muscle cars and even many of those don't use them.

They probably meant turbo charged . at first I wrote turbo charged but then I looked at sails press and internet report and then I saw they all said super charged . probably some PR mistake .

once in 2006 we made a micro processor called Tachara., but some guys with their infinite wisdom made some policies and decision that wiped the company of the pages of times.

I hope you mean turbo charged... superchargers are only really used on American muscle cars and even many of those don't use them.

there are many supercharged cars outside the USA... VW use a combination of Supercharger and Turbocharger at their small displacment engines to overcome turbolag at low ref.
