Thanks man, that was a good read. I'm still unclear as to the extent of their technology Turkey will be able to access. The most key component appears to be the SMART-L (S1850M) radar and to an extent also the Sea Viper combat management system. The missile itself isn't difficult and Turkey is already in the process of mastering the guidance, homing and RF link technology. If Turkey can replicate SMART-L with the CAFRAD and the Sea Viper with Genesis/Genesis II, it seems we're already on the right track and perhaps didn't even need this partnership bar marketing reasons.

Now people can understand why we were sabotaged. Our guys are smart. I wrote some posts ago, I met often Chinese engineers for Master Degree doing jobs as clients and waited my table.

It is estimated that the terrorist cult of FETO is still about 50% as strong as they were prior to the failed July 15th coup, both financially and politically. That's still quite a serious threat to Turkey and requires extreme caution. We can never underestimate their reach and influence and should continue to fight the righteous cause against their unforgivable treachery.
