Or maybe cuz we had an SRK film so close to its release i mean crap movies like bachana performed better it wouldve performed better if it was released near 23 March

possibly. Us Pakistanis need to watch our own movies, waar is better than anything the ******** have churned out. Shaan Shahid zindabad
Yalghaar has Holywood level special effects

From the trailer I could see it has very slickly edited action scenes unlike crap like ek tha tiger

That's what I am wondering why it failed to do business ........................ someone I know went to see this movie in Centaraus, he said its waste of money and there was only one row filled with people watching it.

The trailer gives a hint that story cannot be weak, it is very close to real life threats Pakistanis felt and faced in last decade, kidnapping, street crime, terrorism and helplessness because of incompetent corrupt police. The failed government and what not. So again I am wondering how it failed every Pakistani by now should feel these issues and anything that shows it should sound like something familiar to us.

.
Need more creative storylines

The movie industry is stuck btw mindless comedies and films with nothing else except overdose of patriotism

How about a good romantic movie for once???

Or a family comedy???

Maybe do a biopic on Uzair Baloch

Yaar Pakistanis keep on stumping me, people like the hocane sisters are enthusiastically showering their praise on crap movies like phantom yet they never mention movies like waar, yalgaar etc. all I can say is that i eagerly await these films.kudos

Not impressed when I saw the trailer. The posters look amatuerish so I am not surprised that the film was not successful. Pakistanis will watch a Pakistani film when the whole package is done right. Upcoming films like Janaan look well made and are already being hyped, you can bet they will be successful.

I watched Waar and it was massively over hyped. The dialogues were stale and story line was just average. The action and production values is what made it unique in Pakistan. Another thing it did was give Pakistani cinema a new lease on life. Waar was a game changer in Pakistan but besides that it was quite an average film.

Also you cannot compare our industry with the Indians, they have an absolutely massive industry. They actually produce very good films if you stay away from the "masala" stuff. Just because a film is Indian does not mean its bad.

The action scenes in waar was first rate, far better than anything I have observed in bollywood, just compare it with ek tha tiger, full of fake poorly edited action scenes, yalgaar will also follow in the tradition of waar.
