I am up for giving people the full chance to watch and then decide...but when something is cooked up and full of distortion....I am happy it is put to ban...this movie is like Indian made on 1971 against Pakistan army and shown in Bangladesh....army of Pakistan have learn nothing......

Why do you sound so incredulous, such things happen all around the world as a norm rather than exception. True freedom of expression exists in just certain pockets in N. America and Western Europe.

Some people from subcontinent (both Indians and Pakistanis) need to get out of their horrible inferiority complex and stop singing undeserved paeans for west.

It is true that USA (not North America) has better freedom of speech laws (only laws; they make up for their liberal laws with legendary intrusion of privacy of their citizens and hounding) than subcontinent, but Western Europe? Seriously!!

They have worst FoE laws than either India or Pakistan (if we excuse their blasphemy laws) ,with political speech heavily censored, and penalty for running afoul of law being much sever than that in India (If Pakistanis stop killing alleged blasphemers than Pakistan too). It is just that most of people from subcontinent who have inferiority complex vis-a-vis west are leftists ,and are thus willfully blind (and probably happy) to the this glaring fact that ruling leftist establishment of west crushes FoE of its ring wing (center-right) with Iron fist.

Recently Merkel was overheard during a US meeting demanding that facebook institute a automatic censor for political speech which she does not like as current mechanism of censorship is not working properly. The reply of facebook was that they are working on it. It is a China type censorship with good PR department. and then there is Norwegian child protection services which has been dubbed as a kidnapping racket by a lot of Norwegian activists as it removes children from care of their parents for innocuous reasons.

The ban will be lifted bringing more money for the film but I think PML N is digging its own grave and the choreographer of this move seems to be Maryam Princess who is heading media team pml n. This time around if they think they are gonna go back to Saudi I think they are sadly mistaken. I take this move as direct anti army move irrespective of the movie and what it stands for. I hope the Gov has right set of cards.

I am sick of this floated term, boot licker, poloshiya, if my skin was used to make these big black boots I will be happy, because it will serve a man who will serve my nation. They certainly deserve our respect and love.

I have seen Pakistan come out of ashes brought up by these men of courage while our political heroes dragged their feet on every matter. Truth will be truth at the end of the day it can't be twisted or mixed or merged with falsehood. Truth stands out.

Because it was not against Pak Army, ISI, Hafiz Saeed or Pak LEAs but was against corrupt, uneducated and and thugs **** Politicians so from GOD knows where, people complained about ethnicity in this film so got banned. Interestingly first ban was imposed by Sayi Sarkar soon realised of situation and withdrawn the notification but on the same time threatened and warned Cinema owners in Sindh to not to play MAALIK and then obviously Federal government has to act also to fulfill GEO's wish. Kabeer Khan can be welcomed, people like Mama Qadeer, Najam Serhi, Hamid Mir, Asmara Jahangir and alike could be praised but no Pakistani especially having a mango & sari loving political government that miss no chance to praise Safroonis so business may not hurt.

I just started to believe that media in Pakistan was really independent and now this ban negates it. I hope film is released in Spore with English dubbing or subtitles.

The sad reality is "Government did a favor to this movie by banning it", these same Pakistanis who are raising voices now were interested in spending their money to watch Indian movie "Fan" over this Pakistani movie, and I was wondering why? Because when I watched the movie trailer it felt so close to our real life experiences of being a common Pakistani and I failed that why such a movie won't do business.

Atleast now Pakistanis know there is a Pakistani movie that had touched real life experiences of a common Pakistan, that had shown the real issues ........................ so for me it was expected of this current government they (current government) are still living in 90's with the same mindset .............. but at the same time I am ashamed of hypocrisy of common Pakistanis.

1. for reaching the Post of Cheif Minister of Sindh u have to rape the Woman.
2. Every Politician use to rape the woman
3. Cheif Minister house is the place of Dance Parties.
4. Every night in cheif Minsters house new girl arrived for CM.
5. Police officers also help CM to rape the woman.

the character of Politicians showed in that movie is very very negative.

Hahahaha and this is democracy. They claim to be champions of democracy buy act like monarchs. It's a movie. It won't bring a revolution and it don't ruin the image of politicians anymore then its already ruined. The thing is that our corrupt leaders wetted their pants when a movie that shows politicians in a bad light came when panama leaks and corruption was already hunting then down. Each day the front page is filled with the govt ads either slandering or giving explainations...
