Pandey ji, Lucknow is already among the much better cities of the country and of UP.

Your state needs to work on other cities which are still 3 centuries behind rest of the country. East and central UP should be the targets.

Owing to the historical and religious heritage, several cities in UP (Agra, Varanasi, Allahabad, Jhansi, Mathura) have a great potential as tourist hubs, that can earn huge revenues. Unfortunately barring a few locations, government has done little to improve upon infra-structure and facilities.
Agra for example doesn't have many direct flights from major cities and roads are in shabby condition. To top it all is poor electricity and perennial law and order problem doesn't help the matter either.
If somebody puts a vision, the state can become top tourist destination. But with SP at helm, i have little hopes.
