There is no law under which a serving general can be appointed at such a key position.
But then was there ever a law in Pakistan? Pakistan is country owned by the army. The army has the country.
This is a 100% attempt to sabotage elections. Voter lists will be tampered. Voters will be thrown out of their constituencies. ID cards will be cancelled or withheld and overseas Pakistanis who raise their voice against army atrocities, their NICOP cards will be cancelled.
Adil Raja broke the story that Pakistanis who protested outside Pakistan embassy a few months ago, their headshots were taken and military secretary at embassy sent the headshots to army command to cancel NICOPs of those protesters. Cancelling NICOP means stripping you of citizenship.
This appointment must be resisted and voice should be raised against it.
