Bajwa was the symptom not the cause. Cause is deep-rooted systematic corruption in the armed forces.

What you and @Areesh don't understand is that as DG ISI he did his job without fear. DG ISI job is to give information.He gave information to IK who was PM and wasn't afraid to offend him by speaking truth as he had it. That shows character.

Prosecuting bushra bibi or anyone else wasn't his job.

Sure someone like that will also not tolerate corruption from pml/ppp or pdm etc. but remember again that as Army Chief he will do his job. If he can do that with honesty, bravery, character and wisdom then that's all that can be asked of him. Let's all hope & pray that this is the case.

Asim Muneer was not DG ISI during pml(n) govt period. And ISI of that time did not turn blind eye either. Remember panama JIT?

One of the key objectives of "Regime Change Operation" was to stop IK from making the next COAS appointment. That objective has been achieved.

The ISI chief informed Imran Khan with good intentions about the corruption stories of of Peerni Sahiba and her friends with proofs. Terrified by Takabbur , Mr Khan removed him from the post of ISI chief, calling that an interference in personal and family matters. But the system of rewards of nature " MAKAFAAT E QUDRAT " is very true and powerful . Today Allah , the Almighty has made that General Asim Munir the Army Chief of Pakistan.

Now Khan Sahib and his followers are afraid that how such an anti-corruption general will allow the politics of corruption and mischief of PTI riot group to continue.

please don't make claims with baseless stories created by the opponents. how many cases or scandals have you seen PDM could bring out and file cases against IK?

if you think, so humble PDM is and with their darweshi habits they won't, please have some coffee.

what they were up to since in power is just two things, eliminate their own cases and find something against IK and that's it.

I never expected anything else from most of the posters here because many of them have little brains.
But I am most disappointed by @Areesh who I respected until today for having good brains. And also by @Jango since he as moderator should display more responsibility.

And Dear SIR, I second your appeal to all the members. Guys have some sanity and use your brains PLEASE. Look at the two postings from merit POV rather than your own petty party affiliations. Put OUR COUNTRY before anything else.

Respect is earnt. When Generals are stripping and torturing politicians and sharing sex videos of them - then what respect can be left? When Generals cannot be named in FIR's, what scope is there for respect? The current COAS himself has admitted his institutions role in politics - what is there to respect there? Who is the one getting involved in politics? The Sipoy and Havildar? No, it is the Generals right at the very top.

Go to any country in the world and ask the name of the head of their army - nobody will know. Maybe 1% might know. In our country it's headline news, 99.9% know who he is. Why? Because he holds the power. That is a problem.

Just checked some int'l media and many have accused previous ISI head Asim Munir of pulwama attack as he being the mastermind.

And that he is hawkish, so this makes him a good choice for IK as well.

As for his removal by IK, it is mostly related to Afghanistan affairs, as Faiz hameed knew how to handle the situation inside out.

Imran Khan also removed Asad Umar his closest ally, as finance minister, that doesn't mean he has grudges against him or for that matter against Asim Munir.

If IK throws his weight behind him, this would be the end of PMLN ploy and game plan.

Ganja thought just because IK removed him, the perceived enemy of IK is my friend, could fall flat as per earlier history.
