At the off-chance if IK is able to make it to PM(HIGHLY unlikely)

I would recommend he should use his powers to dismiss the army Chief ..

This is the only thing that will bring confidence to the people that army is under political power not under the core commanders

But IK is known to do deals to..so if he gets to PM it will be apart of the deal to ignore army corruption

WHY ARE ALL THE STUPID PATWARIS (means pti supporters) UPSET on Asim Munir and making STUPID observations about his retirement on 27th etc. etc. etc. The summary was moved by GHQ which well know who is ELIGIBLE and who is not. The tow SENIOR MOST people have been promoted. This is absolutely on merit!!

BTW Bajwa's preference for COAS was most likely Sahir Shamshad and he didn't get his wish and THAT stupid people is a good thing !! (Even though Sahir Shamsah is also a very good general).

Asim Munir is an EXCELLENT choice from the options available! Every single report suggests he is an honest man who is NOT a pml(n) loyalist of any kind but a professional soldier. (The reported or rather alleged issue between him & IK about that famous necklace for his wife also only proves his honesty).

Nobody knows the future but I certainly hope & pray this new army chief will prove good for the Army and for Pakistan.

The worst think Imran Khan can do is object to this appointment. He should accept it and move on. President Alvi shouldn't make any problems either.

And SHAME on all of you criticizing this based on your personal preferences. Making this controversial is bad for PAKISTAN. Don't you guy get it??
PML(n) deliberately made this controversial for their petty political gains and all you STUPID people are doing the same playing in to the enemy's hand. (enemy means those of pakistan).

This appointment is on MERIT so accept it with grace people! I hope IK & PTI do the same and congratulate both promoted generals without delay! That's the least any patriotic Pakistani should do.

So, I believe it has become clear that Asim Munir cannot become Army chief on Nov. 29, since he is set to retire on Nov. 27, and won't be in uniform as a three star on the 29th. However, I believe it is prerogative of the PM to prematurely retire the Army chief, so has Noora done that?? Both brothers are idiots, and may be trying to exercise 'civilian supremacy' two days before formal retirement. Circus clowns.
