This is an insurgency which would take some time to die down. There are other factors which are also needed to quell insurgencies. You need to eliminate their network in the cities. You need to eliminate their financial network. After Swat operation you forced the terrorists to abandon their base. How would you feel if terrorists had a base in swat valley which is just a few hundred kilometers from your capital. The chances of such attacks would increase monumentally in such a condition. It takes time and many different steps needed to eliminate terrorism. Swat operation is just one of them. No need to pay much attention to what Bharatis say.
