Lost in Afghanistan: US Can't Track Weapons it Sends

They will track if those were m4s-
Cheap ak-47 who cares-
chief - its the m-4 too

They most likely will be used against us. If Afghanis are reporting those weapons to have gone 'missing', its a red flag to indicate that they might be re-arming Uzbeks to attack Pakistan.
this can tell us how militants got their hands on GP30 grenade launchers and m203 / under barrel attachments fir ak47 & m4

M4? I want one, can i buy? :woot:

Place your bets gentlemen.....where do you think these "lost" weapons have/will end up and who will they be used against?

Lost in Afghanistan: US can't track weapons it sends
All the whining and histrionics out of US have been (and continue to be) about "US funds to Pakistan being diverted to the Taliban", whereas it turns out (some of us have been pointing this out for years now) that the US itself is one of the "largest funding and weapons supply" sources for the Taliban, with large amounts of its money and weapons being siphoned off by corrupt governments and contractors in Afghanistan to the Taliban and associated criminals.

Of course this will still not stop Western commentators to respond (when asked how the Taliban continue to receive funds and weapons) with the usual canard of "its the safe haven in Pakistan". Anything to absolve themselves of responsibility for their failed policies.

Most likely go to Taliban and extremists causing infighting. After infighting strongest terrorist group will head into Pakistan and Iran and from northern Pakistan to the Jammu Kashmir territories.
1. Why would an easily available supply of weapons and funds cause "infighting" in the Taliban?
2. Why would the "strongest terrorist group" head into Pakistan, Iran, J&K, instead of consolidating their gains within Afghanistan (attempting to overthrown the government in Kabul)?

Afghanistan always has a been heavily weaponized society traditionally. Adding a few hundred or even thousands of more pieces are unlikely to change anything significantly.

I think, we should create stick this thread to see next terrorists attacks, we will find these weapons originally from.

Considering their high end fashion gear, it's not difficult to assume how these ragtags can muster an unending supply of high calibre weapons.suffice to add the very weapons meant for US forces have ended up killing American and other coalition soldiers. After leaving Afghanistan in a mess in the 90s and paying the ultimate price in 9/11, one would have hoped that US has learned it's lesson the hard way and with regular cross border raids on Pakistani posts, there's always the danger that Pakistan may be forced to fight it's war inside Afghanistan.

1. Infighting over who hates America the most.
2. Depending on how bad the blowback is when we leave, the government may already be weakened to the point that the strongest terrorist doesn't have worry about it.

Not lost, but given to rented terrorists to spread terror in Pakistan.
