i read somewhere that tencent developing wechat home, currently inside wechat they had millions apps. that's why apple quite piss off with tencent because they can't monetize the apps inside wechat.
but the developing team in tencent , they are deadly serious to make wechat home, so the user never left wechat eco-system

Far from it. As I mentioned, the US can ban the Google App store (Google play) and other services on Huawei phones outside of China. This would be a significant move, and replacing the App store along with 2.5 million third party developers (many of whom are signed to exclusive deals with Google) would take Huawei many years. In the meantime, people would stop buying Huawei phones that can't run their favorite apps. Many people would also replace their Huawei phones when their apps and other services either won't update or function.

Huawei already has App Gallery which could host their eco-system app.
The developer only need to adjust their process a bit and upload an apk to that store after uploaded to Google App, and that's all they need to do. It's not Android vs iOS but Android - Android
I'm not sure about new version of Android, it's open source so technically China can just get a newest source and then compile it

Funny, peoples are only interested in talking about mobile phones concerning Huiwei. Huiwei is the largest supplier of telecommunication appliances, also servers, cloud platforms, even offer solar power components. Mobile phone business is in fact a relatively new business sector for Huiwei.

It won't work for US to contain Huawei, there will be hundreds of Huawei alike firms grow up in mainland China in the following decades. Chinese will dominate the world economy, definitely and why not.

Alphabet Inc's Google has suspended business with Huawei that requires the transfer of hardware and software products except those covered by open source licenses, a source close to the matter told Reuters on Sunday.

The move comes as another blow to the Chinese technology company that the US government has sought to blacklist around the world.

Huawei Technologies will immediately lose access to updates to the Android operating system, and the next version of its smartphones outside of China will also lose access to popular applications and services including the Google Play Store and Gmail app.

Details of the specific services were still being discussed internally at Google, according to the source. Huawei attorneys are also studying the impact of the US Commerce Department's actions, a Huawei spokesman said on Friday. Huawei was not immediately reachable for further comment.

Huawei will continue to have access to the version of the Android operating system available through the open source license that is freely open to anyone who wishes to use it.

What u talk about? Play store is just one of many places to get Android apps. They're called Android apps not Google apps coz they run on Android which is open source and which is the OS of Huawei phones...

You don't need google app store, there are many minor ones and Huawei can make their own.

Aptoide for instance, on it you can get VTV go.

The app offers many many channels, all in Vietnamese. Great channel, great app.

There are many foreign TV apps on Aptoide, where you watch East Asian or Latin American public tv for free! Don't need to go to youtube to watch TRT, there is an app for that, many many tv channels for free.

You could watch the Asian Cup, VTV volleyball tournament. Many sporting events. Some apps require subscription, most don't.
