But India has always been an elitist country where your caste defines you, deep rooted cultural dominance.

Its funny some Indians are so involved in this culture they will look up at their "superiors" and be so happy at their riches like they are their own. Thousands of years of social conditioning to say "yes master" "you deserve all the money master as you are a superior caste to me" What a joke India can be sometimes. So much potential but diluted by a billion morons.

Ignorants should refrain from making a fool out of himself. But you can't...understandably the hatred can't be hidden. If castes defined everything...a tea seller lower caste won't have been the PM of India. Similarly the politics in North India is dominated by Yadavs...as far as I know they aren't higher caste either. Your don't have an iota of knowledge about India and your comment is a proof of it. Thousands of years of ''yes master'' was done by your forefathers too...the moment you point India's history you are pointing at yourself....India abolished Zamindari system as soon as it got independence...and you still have it...this proves you are still happy saying ''yes master'' be it to the Zamindars, Americans or the Chinese....oops forgot the Arabs.
Yes Indians feel pride when Indian companies like TATA, Birla, Reliance, Wipro etc. do well...they contribute to India too. They create jobs and helps the economy grow...and name me one company who can survive without profit. Grow up kid...

India has been growing since 1992. Why has it taken them more than 20 years just to start building toilets? I am mentioning this because this is basic sanitation, a basic standard of living. My Indian friends have visited villages recently and they have told some parts don't even have roads, no street lighting. Electricity will cut off 6 hours at a time.
Its not about a hand out, its about providing basics. If India has funds to go to space then they have enough to do these things.

And don't worry...soon all of UK will be owned by Chinese and Indian companies. And your country Pakistan has power cuts for 48 hours...no petrol for moths. India is a developing country not a developed country. Well if my counting is right around 500 of them....Delhi alone has more sulabh sauchalayas than the whole of UK it seems. The problem in India isn't the toilets...it is the attitude of going out in the open.

True to certain extent but I tell you, among the new generation its not the case. All of my friends back home works hard and take pride in what they do. They are more aware and in villages too ppl are more aware thanks to technology. Showoff and VIP culture is frowned on in most part of the country. But offcourse in South we have a drawback in cult worship but with more progressive youth we will get there...

What do you want to convey by showing external debt??? Almost every developed country has debt...it is whether you can repay them or not. India unlike Pakistan doesn't have to beg to IMF for loans to repay external debts.

Oil prices are equally low for all countries not just India. You have to give this govt its due, they have made a start, needs to keep going. The steps will add up in a few years and we should see real change . No doubt there will still be poverty, problems etc. after all there are homeless in the richest country in the world but we should see improvement in the nation. no magic wand will turn a country with years of bad policy into Norway . overnight.
