Thanks, so this is chennai based co making it. this tunnel will be all weather unlike jawahar tunner where traffic sometimes stops because of snow, rains

Providing all weather connectivity has been high on Government's agenda after Kargil.

A special mention here for tunnels in infra project in state. Both Railways and Road tunnels are now being bored at base of mountains, rather than climbing up. This is, from civil engineering point of view, a costlier option, but much safer as it provides better safety against weather and seismic activity. Pir Panjal tunnel is a testimony to the fact.
