Long March in Pictures

Police should be more careful with handling elderly and female protesters.

Also beating children and being caught on camera is not cool.

But I guess they get frustrated after being beaten by Army officers all day long ;)

I wonder how the poor cop would be feeling at that moment. did anyone find na'at of Aamir liaqat please do tell me.

Thank you AgNoStIc MuSliM this really made me laugh at like two in the night in the middle of Scotland when it came live.

His naat (loosely translated as 'Salute to justice') comes across as hypocritical given what some would consider hate speech against the Ahmedis and Rushdie.

I believe that was the reason behind his expulsion from the MQM, which I thought was a principled stance by the party, when being politically expedient and keeping a high profile public figure like Aamir Liaquat would have served them well politically.

Well I still feel that having him in the party would have given them a voice in Geo as well as a figure follwed by a lot of people in Pakistan in his show Aamir Online.

Despite security presence, many people had managed to climb the wall and were inside the boundary wall of the Chief Justice’s residence.

Members of a Student Action Committee, who were not affiliated with any political party, also joined the celebrations. One of their members, Ali Abbas said that this was just the beginning of a revolution and they were going to continue cleaning up the system.

Some musicians were resting by the fence. When I asked which party they were from, they said they belong to the one which will pay the best wages for the day.

Razbon, could you please provide me with teh website where u get all the pictures from. Thanks :)

Slightly off topic, but I think his original Ramadan Assalam is far better. Very touching, even for an 'Agnostic Muslim' like me. Ignoring his Ahmedi views, I think he represents a very moderate Islam, in touch and in harmony with local culture and traditions.

It is true he displays a lot of wisdom by bringing guests of both sects in his shows but a lot of the hard conservatives from both sects hate him he even had a death fatwa issued against him in Hyderabad.
