I dont know what year she came to Lahore and I dont care what Indians say about Pakistan good or bad...but I myself went to Lahore two days ago on my Pakistan trip after 18 years in Lahore....SS had done wonders with Lahore, staying in Behria was like Staying in the Poshest most parts of any world class city in itself and driving around in the city was such a pleasure but when I went to the airport it felt like I am going in a big f'ing flower Garden. beautiful man beautiful!!

I have met many Lahoris who say bad things about Islamabad but when you say a thing about Lahore, they become angry.
And ever guessed why they don't like Islamabad? The main reason is food. Food is everything to them even unhealthy oily and ghee soaked food.
They don't like Islamabad because there is no garbage,pollution and halla gulla (crowd) in it.

Compare Lahore against it's counterparts, not Western cities.

Perhaps it is my own thinking. But the Lahoris I met are way too proud and unwilling to accept any harsh truth about their city. If you point out any positive about Islamabad, they will slam a jugat on that too.
I have heard words like " Islamabad ki sari larkiyan gashti hot hain" and so on. They talk about how morally corrupt Islamabadis are by pointing out at a few brothels in F sectors but will change the topic the time you mention heera mandi.

I know what sarial means as I am a potohari, not Urdu speaking. I am not an Islamabadi either but truth is what it is.
Lahore may be a good city by Pakistani or South Asian standards. But not in anyway compareable to West. Why so much non sense about an average industrial city? I am not jealous of Lahore as I personally prefer natural beauty and hills instead of plains.
