Any plans to meet up? Maybe if I am seen with a white person I wont have to walk to Germany :(

Hmmm....well i still have a tan. We might risk of being seen as European looking migrant with his hareem. roflol!!!!

Budapest is close though....when will you be going?

between x-y

Will be in Bratislav in between though that is not confirmed.... @waz bro can you open a PM between me and @Audio ....Please

Budapest was termed as 'Jewel of the East', at least thats what Malev (the now bankrupt) Hungarian airline was doing and thats utter bollocks. Apart from the parliament building and the hill across the Danube in front of it, I didn't find anything appealing. It has rather old Communistic aka depressing feeling. Budapest is way too overrated. Thats entirely my view of course.

Warsaw is much better even though a lot less touristic. Be prepared to be stared at and if you do go, try Wilanow palace.

Not been to Bratislava (yet) so can't say but I bet its not better than Budapest or Warsaw.

And very important, don't even *think* about trying Desi food in these cities (you won't find any Pakistani food anyway, its all Indian). Its shit and its expensive, you will regret it. Trust me. (and I am not saying that because the restaurants are Indian)

Have fun and stay safe.

Thanks for the tip....sis and her friend bought the tickets and so I am just gonna go with it...we might travel elsewhere within that area of course coz they already spent air fare to and from Budapest so wherever we go will have to return to Budapest for them to return....I havent been to Prague....but my sis has so lets see....

If your flights are to and from Budapest, then I suppose you would have shorter time. Flights from Budapest to somewhere else and return would be too expensive and the trains there are nothing like Virgin, SNCF or DB. If I were you, I would try Vienna. Much closer than Prague or Warsaw and an amazing city with so much to see. I am pretty sure you can find direct trains with a few hours journey. You could check OBB website.

Oh and if you do go to Vienna, you *must* try Deewan Der Wien. One of the best places in the continent for Pakistani food and the best part is they run on 'eat as much as you want, pay as much as you want' basis ! I would eat to the full and drop a tenner in the box on the way out.

Tan will have largely gone away by then....rofl!

And what the dude above is saying about Budapest, it's partially true, there's some stuff to see, but, i don't think it's a good time of year for you to visit.
I was in Budapest cca 10 years ago right around that time, city is filled with (young, male) tourists who come to unwind and basically run wild with cheap booze/food/accomodation. It's also sort of on a reputation you're likely to score it with some woman there...so..what drunk doesn't like that.
Last i heard...around 2 years ago was more or less still the same.

Bratislava is same, but worse....moar socialist tenements and less pomp than Budapest. Haven't been to Poland yet, so can't comment, however, i do seem to recall Warsaw was bombed quite thoroughly during WWII, so i kinda doubt it has the same level (quantity and quality) of preserved architecture like Prague for example.

Less grand architecture like in the other towns of former Austro Hungarian empire-as grand buildings are from that time mostly.

Maybe check hostel.com, bookings.com or trivago? Find yourself a room in an apartment for a bargain of what you'd pay in a hotel. With a bit of luck, you can find such apartments that are empty for the whole duration of your trip. All sites also have customer reviews.
