If we were to simulate a war scenario between any two countries, a duel so to speak, then first we need to throw out all political correctness junks, international law and governing body, and simply go back to the law of the jungle like those in 19th and 20th century. In this scenario, it is indeed possible for Britain and France to defeat India. We will ask why I am assure. I never look at current firepower as a meant for real war strength considered that in peace time, everyone is happy acting nice and civilized. This is to be expected. What matter most is the knowledge of indigenous weapons. That is one of the reason why British and France empire can conquer others. They have the industrial knowledge and weaponry know know to make as much as needed to conquer others. While France/Britain are not the same power of 20th century, their industrial know-how is still very strong as evidence by their tank, aircraft, and nuclear tech arsenal. The only concern for Britain/France is manpower but at 64mil and 66mil, respectively, it is enough population to generate offensive power to conquer others. Once again, you must remember that I am talking about law of the jungle.

Once again to simulate a war scenario, we must apply law of the jungle. It is true that if France and UK start a war against India today with modern international law and body, they will lose quite easily. Russia will help India or perhaps even us, as well. That is why I am saying that we have to apply jungle law to simulate a war. This way, nobody is involved except the two countries that are fighting. British are capable of launching expeditionary troop to conquer all the way to India border. Though it is really difficult to gauge the industrial military strength of Britain/France now in peace time. I am sure they can, especially Britain, to defeat India. Let not forget, the common wealth nation will most likely aid Britain to defeat India.

In law of jungle only number matters and technology never happens so do you still thinks they outnumbers us.I think Britain and France have benefit of International laws and support of other countries.Weapons need one more things Economy.UK and France is loosing finances and Investments to India and China. They have technology but they don't have money to use that technology. Indian defense budget is increasing every year due to its economic expansion. India is buying their developed technology.Why do you think they are selling their cutting edge technologies to India because Indian money is pumping oxygen in their economy.
