Lockheed Martin breakthrough in nuclear fusion

. . .
I don't believe this as things too good to be true usually are. We don't have revolutions, we have incremental increases, only when we look back with the lens of nostalgia do we call things revolutions, even though they happened over the span over several decades.

Gone through the link, looks like a tabloid article as it's devoid of any detailed science. Most of it is in punchlines. Maybe the author of the article couldn't absorb much science, or the editor just wanted to make it sensational at any cost!

I thought so at first, too, but Aviation Week is a legitimate source, and Lockheed Martin's SkunkWorks is legendary.

I am sure there are lots of questions around safety, commercialization, etc., but the players here are solid.

I know very well about SkunkWorks and Lockheed Martin, however, I'm the skeptical kind. I need to see some solid science before I can make an opinion. A colored diagram, without any specific information won't do.

I will believe this only if Lockheed can show a car being driven around Islamabad by Hamid Mir using this new tuknalojee, after being endorsed by the Chairman of PCSIR and AQ Khan. That is the ultimate proof. :D
