The company should be charged with anti-discrimination laws. They are essentially discriminating against majority of the women population in Pakistan.

The slave asslicker liberals supporting this move cry about “low female participation rates in labor force” and then jump happily on such discrimination? Talk about height of mental slavery and willingness to sell your own mothers for the validation of foreign Westerners.

Some of the best people I know are pious muslims that wouldn't be able to apply for this job. It is wrong to have identity politics anywhere...especially at discrimination level. Judge the individual, not the identity!

You are right, identity politics is very lousy propaganda in the end....given it relies on fuzziness and emotions first....to judge vast numbers of people.

All Acceptable from my end, this has been the traditional face of Working Ladies in Pakistan
Most women in my house hold had a similar dress rabbit growing up

And this is a recent upgrade, which is also acceptable below image is from Western Society
Mostly from Northern African countries / Syria or Turkey

100% ok working dress code

If I was hiring for Good employee such minor differences would not impact my decision
Personally don't see a reason in hot weather ladies should not wear a less formal head covering because it does gets to 50 centigrade weather wise in Pakistan


I only encountered the black robes when our family visited Saudi Arabia and even as a kid it was strange and noticeable, however Middle east itself is undergoing changes

Nextbridge (Pvt) Limited, a software house located in Johar Town area of Lahore wants to hire employees/interns who are willing to “wear business attire” without abaya and/or scarf.

A screenshot of their latest vacancy was circulating on social media with the caption “If it is not safety requirement or job requirement or it violates basic social decency people should allow wearing whatever they think appropriate #Shame #Discrimination.”

The company had listed a vacancy for an IT Intern on jobs portal Rozee.pk, wherein the “requirements” section, it stated that “an ideal candidate must be willing to wear business attire without an abaya, veil or scarf”.
This is not the first incident where there is discrimination against women wearing religious attire; people all over the world have faced various levels of discrimination over the same and some of them are set on breaking these stereotypes.
