For thousands of children in Romania, seeing their mothers or fathers is becoming a rare luxury. That's because the crippling economic situation in the country is driving parents to seek work abroad. And their struggle for a better future is already coming at a high cost, as RT's Egor Piskunov reports.

For money ya dolt. Even that has been made clear in the video. Its the same story everywhere parents leave their child behind to earn more money so they send it to their children.

RT article=propaganda.They've filmed the most crappy villages in the countryside and presented as "Bucharest" or "entire Romania".Not that such cases are not to be found,just not at the level of that stupid video,Russians being their crappy selves i guess.

I have seen RT's coverage.Its pretty good ,though citizen journalists are better.

Though I am not aware about the conditions of Romania.

It's all the fault of evil Russia.

Seriously, since countries like Romania have become member states of the EU, they have been flooding our cities with beggars. Many of them just came to collect welfare to send them home without ever paying one cent into the welfare system. It's a headache for all of us.
