MDL and GRSE has now developed modular approach to construct warship wherein a frigate can now be constructed between 60-66 months and corvettes in 54 months.

Upcoming Corvettes of India are close to 3000 ton. Heavier than few frigates of PLA(N). They have more firepower than some frigates of Pakistan's Navy.

I am talking about the same Kilo class subs operated by both the navy(China and India). From where the hell you started talking about matching the numbers with China and when China also operate Ming Class Submarine which are 50 years old.

For your information: Currently Pakistan Navy operates 16 ships. 11 frigates and destroyers and 5 submarines.

Zulfiquar Class frigates - 4 (Bought from China)

Tariq Class Destroyers - 6 (Served in Royal Navy from 1973-1993. Almost at the time of retirement inducted by Pakistan Navy and serving in Pakistan Navy even today.)

PNS Alamgir - 1 (Served in US Navy from 1979-2010. Retired or Decommissioned on August 2010. And then inducted by Pakistan Navy.)

Agosta Class Submarine - 2 (Originally built for South Africa Navy in 1977.Old design. Later used by French Navy till 1997 and then passed over to Pakistan Navy.

Agosta 90B Class Submarine - 3 (Bought from France.)

So of the 16 major warships, 9 are second hand ships already retired from service by Royal,US and French Navies.

Chinese Kilo subs are relatively new... as for Ming class it has been phased out.

Im not very upto date with naval plans bro... but the things i mentioned are already in the pipeline.
