"The prime minister of Libya's UN-backed unity government has ruled out any possibility of a readmission agreement between Libya and the European Union to stop migrants and refugees from making the perilous journey across the Mediterranean.

Prime Minister Fayez al-Sarraj told German national daily newspaper Die Welt's Sunday edition that Libya would not accept any migrant the EU would send back to them. He said during the interview, "Europe needs to find ways to take them back to their home countries. They [migrants, refugees] cannot live with us."

The Libyan PM's comments came in the wake of Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz's suggestion that the EU should find a way to reach an agreement with Libya to stop refugees from leaving for Europe.

...

Fayez al-Sarraj said, to solve the migration tragedy, one must go to the bottom of the problem and look for the solutions in the countries of origin of migrations." Daily Sabah

As if India would accommodate millions of refugees without any problems. It is easy to gloat as when going gets tough even the righteous become hypocrites.

Also Europeans and US are responsible for the mess that led to this migrant crisis. They should have a taste of their own medicine until they realise that every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

Well, who has started the Syria chaos cause, has to be seen. One is the historically correct can be worked up in a few decades, and this should be. Because I do not think that Europe and the US are to blame as the only.

As for the rest of North Africa and the Arabian spring, well, if I 'm still quite in the head, some European countries and a very hesitant US has intervened quite late, so we aren`t caused the chaos .

If US hadnt intervened the Syria would not has seen as much bloodshed. US and West saw an opportunity to kick Russia out by supporting Rebels. Russia bulldozed a pre calculated plan by a direct intervention and support of Asad.

In reality ISIS was formed after ISIL which was a direct by product of overthrow of Gaddafi regime with active participation of EU. Libya under gaddafi was stable and now there is no libya whatsoever. Same goes of Iraq which didnt see any blooshed on its teritory but after US intervention all hell broke loose. Now same is happening in Syria but unfortunately those Plans were ruined by Russia.

Other regional players joined in after US took the lead otherwise Saudis or any other nation wouldnt have had any chance to intervene.

The statement that the region was not make safe by various US interventions, I will not disputing it. But to tell the EU or USA were to blame for Gaddafi's case testifies already strange time understanding. I can still remember to the discussions, bombs or not, and the riots were already broke out in the region.

Lol you still dont get it do you ?? I have said it several times on here, that to many people in the middle east/muslim world, all their troubles/ills/issues is due to the U.S,Britain,France,E.U. its never their own fault. So you are wasting your time if you think they will recognise their faults.

We get it, Most Muslims countries are politically unstable, but one big question remains unanswered, why did NATO bomb Gaddafi's convoy? who gave NATO the right to kill a president of another country? Can you imagine if Iran, Pakistan or Saudia would have tried assassinating any European and American president? What would happen to these countries? Would the action be declared illegal under international laws? And the said countries be bombed back to stone age? Injustice and double standards would lead to WW3 not peace, you can't have one law for yourself and treat other nations unjustly.

We should return them anyway. There's nothing Libya can do about it.

Libyans decided to rise up against Gadaffi not us. They asked for our help. It isn't our fault they aren't civilised.

All parties are at wrong here the dictators for suppresing protests, rebels for infighting and allowing isis to rise and Europe for trying to change the system of countries who are not ready for change at grass root level

India is not in the region nor is it involved in any way in the middle east mess.

I'm not 'gloating' in any way, all that is, is a list of countries from the region who have been fueling the instability in Syria and they should be the people who accommodate these refugees for obvious reasons such as culture, language, and religion.

These masses of millions of random people are an incompatible match with western liberal democracies and European culture, they also pose a very real jihadi terror threat and many of them have been behaving in the most disgusting way, particularly in Germany and Sweden.

Also Europeans and US are responsible for the mess that led to this migrant crisis. They should have a taste of their own medicine until they realise that every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
two wrongs do not make a right.

If the European leaders don't get their act together in a hurry, all this will do is fuel right wing nationalism, something which was unheard of till 5-7 years ago, and now it's exploding.

Well some will also say Syrians, tunisians, egyptians, etc never rose up against their dictators, it was U.S, British and french citizens who were protesting in the streets demanding their removal and being killed by security forces for this.
Thing is: as long as you dont rule your country properly, provide freedom and rights to your own people, establish an equitable and fair system for all(at least a system that is based on merit than connections) ,create strong institutions which allows for a constant peaceful transition of power(im not talking about staying in power forever like these dictators do, claiming they are the only one who can rule the country. Lol), etc.
If you can't do all these as a leader, then you have failed your country and chaos, revolution and instability is bound to happen at some point in time when that dictator is gone And when this happens, obviously world powers will be oblige to intervene to secure their interests and also through pressure by human rights groups to protect the people. World powers (the P4, U.S, Russia, U.K, and France) mainly are the ones people always look up to for intervention whenever there is trouble, since they are the only ones with the ability, capabilities and will to act in these circumstances.

So fix your countries and nobody will have the chance to meddle in it. :pop:

Arabs need dictators. The catastrophic events of the last five years proves that.
