A Friend of mine used to live in Libya in its good days. Came back to Pakistan when the civil war(Invasion) started. Sad to see such turn of events for such beautiful country

Actually there was a democracy once in Libya...
After Qazafi there was an election That spelled MB out...but as usual they didn’t recognize that results and refused to leave power.....so it became nowadays Libya.

Democracy existed way before the Greeks... Greeks wrote about it and applied it in a powerfull society...
Democracies could be found in small tribes etc... in writings in mesopotamia... or Berbers tribes in N-Africa... some thousands of years back...

And Greek Democracy has nothing to do with Today ones... it was more like a worst version of Dictatorship of our time...

Democracy, ppl have a say and power in the matter of the state... (+ a rule of law...) with that simple sentence...anything could be seen as a democracy...
