The mere fact u allegedly settled EEZ with Egypt shows how wrong u are. I am being truthful, even in ICJ i think greece EEZ will be reduced. But yes maybe they claim more than EEz and some islands too, then why would they settle EEZ.
The Turkish narration goes deeper than just the EEZ around Kastellorizo. In the '90s,it was about grey zones in the Aegean. In the last 5-6 years,it started from the Mavi Vatan doctrine which demands half the Aegean's EEZ be given to Turkey,then they started talking about "demilitarisation of the islands",talking about a 100 year-old Treaty out of the blue. This narration has been repeated to the Turkish public every day,claiming that Greece is not respecting the Treaties. Of course,all of this is completely invalid,as can be seen by the Treaties of Paris,Montreaux and Article 51 of the UN Charter.
After that,another narration started by Erdogan's government partner,Bahceli and some Turkish MPs,talking about Greek "occupation" of islands,presenting maps with islands they claim "should be Turkish".
After that,Erdogan and Akar started saying in their speeches that they would "throw Greeks to the see,just like their ancestors". The latest thing was Erdogan's "we will come one night,suddenly" line.
Now,they signed that ridiculous Turkish-Libyan agreement,which has been condemned by Britain,France,Germany,Italy,Egypt,the House of Representatives government of Libya,USA and basically most of the EU.
Still,Erdogan has been trying to portray Greece as the bad guy in the region,even in Praga in front of the other European leaders. Akar has been saying non-stop that "Greece is provoking". On one hand,we are no match for Turkey and on the other hand,the few hundred soldiers on the islands are supposedly a "threat" to them.
They also constantly brain-wash their people,telling them that USA has so many bases in Greece and has been unloading so much equipment there,so what are they planning? They are trying to make the Turkish people believe that USA and Greece are plotting something.
They use all these to build up hatred and mistrust among the two countries,in order to have an excuse when and if they start a conflict. So they can say: "Ah,see? It's the evil Greek,we are good neighbors,but they are bad. We want peace and dialogue,but they want to steal Turkish lands (and Mavi Vatan).And the Westerners are helping them,because they hate Turkey and they hate Islam".
