Yeah Lahore High Court announced it 2 hour ago. But they did not give any timeframe... Only said that PML-N demanding reserved seats from 5 is wrong and ECP must notify 5 seats to PTI

Yeah most likely the CM election will be postponed for 3days

Let's see if PTI brings a new petition to get the ECP to notify, or do they mention it within the current petition (seems likely).

THe only guy at the moment making sense is Aitzaz Ahsan.

1- Elections happened, Hamza had votes of the dissidents as well.

2- SC says dissident votes cannot be counted.

3- LHC says dissident votes cannot be counted, hence no one got 186 votes, BUT Hamza Shehbaz should still continue as CM. This is the biggest joke in this whole fiasco. It's like saying you committed a robbery, and you got caught, and everyone agrees you committed a robbery, but the things you stole from it are yours to keep. The LHC is contradicting itself here.

4- ECP is not notifying the 5 reserved member seats.

5- This is circumstantial, but how did N league book a whole hotel a day before the court session and called all their MPA's? How did they know the order was going to come at that day and this order was going to come?

More than the post of CM, this qabza by N is only for the by elections. N wants all the provincial machinery to be under them for the by polls so they can do what they do best.

And, I don't know why does a court have to take all the parties and listen to their suggestions. The petitioner and defendant aren't there to give suggestions or provide a solution, you are the court, you give the solution.

The constitutional and legal and logical way out of this is to reinstate Buzdar as CM, and have the repoll at a later date. The exact date for repoll can then be deliberated upon, whether pre by-polls or post by-polls, and also the notification for the reserved seats.

For PTI, a post by-poll elections suits them, and logically speaking that is also the proper way forward, since the house will be complete only then when the 20 MPA's get elected, jis kay bhi hon.

For N, it MIGHT suit them if it is done before by-polls, IF they are still in majority after the reserved seats go to PTI.

Read the case again.

HS elected with a majority of 197 votes.
SC declared that 25 votes can't be counted in favor of PMLN and 4 in favor of PTI.
Now those 4 v members are willing to vote for HS and PTI members are disqualified on PTI plea.
PE has now 173and HS has 177.
LHC has not declared the earlier election of CM but ordered a recounting of that election in accordance with SC verdict, if HS has not 186 voted than go for another election and the one who has the majority of present members will become CM.
PTI is making hue and cry again, don't know any legal backing for their plea.
USman Buzdar has resigned now he is not CM, governer can rule the province according to law.
