This is really sad, there are some really stupid comments by moronic Indians about how Africans should go back to Africa. Well listen here my Ajays, Arjuns, there are millions of Indians and partial Indians in Africa. Maybe the Indians there should leave first before you put on your morally superior hat? Also the Africans in India are mostly students, while the Indians in Africa are fully settled there for centuries. They do not face much discrimination, nothing like what Africans endure in India.

You guys are only a shade more lighter than them, why hate your own skin colour?

Last I checked, a real study already took place which determined the exact thing which the OP refers to i.e. Indian society is quite racist. What I find really funny is that, instead of acknowledging the problem present, and trying to fix it, you try to make it a "Pakistan vs India" thing to deflect from the facts, which obviously sting a little.

If he is tired, he should go back to Africa. Maybe take a lot of illegals back with him.

Working on that logic, countries around the world should start discriminating against Indians because of the acts committed by SOME Indian people, be it using human shields, be it some Indians being racists, be it the problem with rape, be it the treatment of minorities, be it the treatment of people from different castes. In this case Indians want to feel white/superior. In reality Indians can be darker and are usually shorter (even the lighter ones) than Africans.

True. My neighbor is made up of an Indian Jamaican and Afro Jamaican. The Indian guy one is just as dark as his wife. The kids are jet black. They are a wonderful couple with beautiful kids. Indians need to embrace that black is beautiful and stop self hate.

The racism bit is sadly true, though.

I'm from Delhi, it comes as no surprise to me that a lot of people are racists, African blacks and north eastern "oriental" Indian people have to deal with a lot of prejudice, it's quite shameful and sad.

It plagues the length of the country too, there were horrible problems with NE students in Bangalore a couple years ago, so not like the south is much better.

Of course not everyone is like that but the problem is fairly widespread,.

About the Africans though, the 'peddler' stereotypes have been reinforced over the years with tons of real 'pimp' and coke dealers causing all sorts of trouble, a tough bunch, spl the dealer/drug mules, they don't crack easy, even when in police custody.

Africans have built a bad reputation because of crime. Hence they are stereotyped.

Although skin colour plays a part, it's being associated with crime that creates a big hurdle for even honest Africans to integrate.

A lot of Africans who come to India are also Muslims, so that plays a big role in fomenting negative stereotypes.

True. Its blacks on blacks discrimination. The Indian black need to treat the African blacks with more respect and dignity.



Though .Indians are black skinned people, Souther Indians has generally darker skins than North Indians. So some North Indians regard themselves as whites and treat dark skin people with prejudice.

This is like antebellum south, where household slaves who were bastards of massa's family treat the field slaves with disdain just because they have a lighter shade of black skin. This is India today. Sad.

Many Indians are internet perverts. However, that does not mean that we should discriminate against Indians as a whole.

Also, just because one Indian created genocide in Gujarat in 2002 doesn't mean that all Indians are genicidal.

No doubt that they attract undue attention due to their skin colour, but most of it is due to seeing someone completely unique and different than we are normally used to. It is also due to cultural etiquettes. People here lack the social manners prevalent in west.

But one thing i know, there is a significant number of African descent people in Delhi. Sometimes i also get to interact with some of them. They seem to adjust just fine.

what unique ?? And what is normal skin colour in India?
Over 90% Indians are black so what is this racism for ? I mean if an Australian, European, American exhibit racism one can understand they are fair skinned hence we can expect BUT INDIANS?

Come on you guys are majority of you carry the same black skin then why taunt Africans ?
