Yes bro @Bhayangkara !..
One of my favorite hobbies to do on time off from school and work was going fishing. To be specific; Fly Fishing !

Let me share some pictures of the fly fishing in the pristine rivers and streams in Niseko Region, Hokkaido ! So good man, i can just clean the fish , and cook it on open fire.... eaten with simple rice, with some sake to wash it down. Sooo good...
God... You have reminded me to my home town, my Nihonjin friend.. I also have the same hobbies while still in School in my home village, went to fishing in the river along with my friends and occasionally go to swiming to freshen up while enjoying the natural beauty arounds.. Sure, it was a great experience..

Absolutely, I really enjoying it my friend. It was a very memorable experience..

My village is in Bandung, West Java. But actually that's my parents hometown. I was born and grow up in Jakarta, and only had to stay there in three years while at elementary School. Usually I often to go there every year in vacation, but now it has been almost five years I didn't.. Sure, I was miss it.. :)

Wonderful ! I'm sure you enjoyed being able to visit your parents' village in Bandung specially during festivals , yea? Were you also able to bond with your grandparents , cousins and relatives in Bandung? :)

My father's side comes from Sapporo region, and lots of his side of the family are around Niseko ; my mom's side are from Northern Hokkaido close to Nemuro area. Honestly buddy, I loved my childhood when my mom would take me and my younger siblings to my mom's home village. I always felt closer to mom's side of the family --- specially growing up with my grandfather and grandmother (mom's side). My grandfather used to take my cousins and I to swim on some of the tributaries of the Koshiro River --- hahaha. Those were the days buddy. Just take of our clothes and wearing nothing but our briefs --- we just jump into the river and swim --- while my grandfather and grandmother would be busy cooking salmon, and tuna. After the swim then come to camp and have the pleasure of smelling the wonderful smell of home cooked food by grandmother and grandfather. Definitely i can say one of my best memories growing up was bonding with my grandparents and cousins in my mom's village. :)
