Trivandrum has CRPF, RAF platoon with CRPF commando too. Not sure about army Commando which has division in Pangode, Trivandrum.
IAF southern HQ is Trivandrum and there is enough army personal in trivandrum to take over security in case of emergency.

There are CRPF and Army personnel in pallipuram and pangode, TVM,no doubt in that. But, i doubt the presence of crpf commando force.

More over,in the event of a terror strike,what we need is an efficient force to tackle the intial chaos.

First of all this is a media report and we need to see a conviction in court before a guilty verdict is given. There is a very prosecution ratio in terrorism cases which shows the tardy methods used in nabbing people.

Second, there are a large number of Muslims in Kerela and if there were a large number of cells in Kerela, then there would have already been a number of terror attacks. The fact that this has not happened and that a large number of tips come from the Muslim community itself shows the miniscule involvement of locals. Most of the top bomb making experts have been Pakistanis and any major attack like the 26/11 Mumbai attacks has usually involved Pakistanis or backed by Pakistani bomb making trainers e.t.c.

Let the police do its job, and let the courts do their job and hopefully, the culprits are caught and punished to the maximum extent possibly under law.

The point is that,how much effective they will be in time of a chaos.
