"Condemnation is one thing, having an alternative solution is other."
They could try kidnapping IDF soldiers. Perhaps they might try indiscriminately firing unaimed rocket/mortars.
The Gazans could try voting for an organization who's charter isn't explicitly devoted to the destruction of Israel.
Of course, they might also wear the uniform of an army and avoid booby trapping apartment buildings while using their citizens as human shields. In fact, they are welcome to choose battlefields that don't include at all their citizens and valued ammunition resupply centers...errrh, sorry-mosques.
You reap what you sow. For the Gazans, they do so in spades.
I suppose that's the accepted price of HAMAS defiance. Very impressive thinking going on from HAMAS H.Q. in Damascus.
May the borders continue to stay closed until HAMAS learns of it's obligations as an elected power and the consequences to it's governed for failing those responsibilities.
Until then, look to Syria and Iran for something more than munitions.
Didn't Pakistan swear it would eat grass to afford a nuke? Well, if destroying Israel is as important to HAMAS as acquiring a nuke was for Pakistan similar sacrifices seem in order, wouldn't you agree?
Hmmm...
sauteed rocket in garlic and butter sauce tossed on a bed of small-arms pasta. Yummy!
Renounce the charter, make peace and get on with building what's left of Palestine. Might be a nice change of pace for everybody concerned and something entirely new for Palestinians-especially HAMAS.
