JUSTICE OF GOD

Very childish post from a senior member, quite disappointing. Expected more from senior member than this. Calling a serviceman’s tragic death Justice of God shows how God can be used as an excuse to satisfy your own personal ego. The very reason Pakistan is suffering today.

All these MiGs have since been cleared for full service. Squadron leader P K Bundela may have lived, but more than 40 trained and qualified fighter pilots have been killed in the last decade while flying MiG-21s. However, the top brass of the Air Force refuses to accept the aircraft is outdated, poorly manufactured and prone to disaster.

Are you kidding, if we do not accept these as outdated why are we retiring them in Phases?

We have to keep them(selected ones who are in better condition) flying since we do not have replacement. That is where our politicians sucks, they messed it up. Few more years of pain and we should have something.

Indian rabbit .

What is so brave about shooting down an Unarmed plane ? God does have justice and this coward burnt to death himself and died in the same conditions he killed those unarmed men ...got paid for his aggressions...!!!

He was just doing his job, if he was told to shot he did shot. You should understand that soldiers do not have a personal agenda, they do their duty. This is the reason they respect each other.

I never mentioned about bravery anywhere but, opening a thread to enjoy pain and death of a soldier is ridiculous, Just yesterday we released a Pakistani soldier and we all Indians thanked it.

The same will also apply to Pakistani and Nato soldiers killing innocent bystanders in NWFP and the northern areas of Pakistan. I can also give you 10 examples where your so called "Gods justice" has come into play. Get over all this, two can play this game.

^^ You guys are not only pathetic but you also have double standards in a debate .

In a state of war every thing is justifiable and Pakistan is officially at state of war so why are you just masking your pathetic views on NWFP raw raw raw....

@ Indian rabbit , Look don't tell me about that soldier because we have released many of your men in return so what is a big deal??

Ok he was doing his job , lemme agree but hey what about those who were commanding him to shoot down an unarmed Plane within Pakistan's territory??
Were they just a bunch of idiots just trying to claim their chance to show their
cowardliness?

You can easily justify pakistan's actions by calling it a war, in other words killing civilians in a war is also called a genocide. What India does once becomes an act of cowards but what Pakistan does for years is termed as war. This statement also applies to many of the ongoing issues between India and Pakistan. Brother i think your the one with double standards specially when it comes to India.

Oh yeah here comes your Indionic view once again!

Who is killing civilians ?? we or your Thugs and the Terrorist indian army in Kasmir over 90000 people?

Do you guys even have a brain? if you have do you even bother to use it?

Was it Pakistan which killed all of those Christians and Muslims Gujrat?

Was it Pakistan who demolished the Babri mosque ? Its you war with your own civilians and innocent people on every front with all of your evil forces on the ground.

shame on your democracy .

Whats the point in replying to such rants?

I can write something disgraceful about those pakistani airmen who died doing their duty, but by insulting professional soldiers who have made the highest sacrifice, i would only be commenting on my own upbringing.

Let it pass, if a defence forum allows insulting dead professional soldiers, then its the forum's loss.

There is something in the piloting community known as airmanship, and they live by it. The pilot who shot down the PN aircraft did not display an ounce of it. In any air force around the world, he would have lost the respect of his peers. There is a reason why that particular pilot's name is not included in the list of IAF heroes. Shooting down an un-armed plane during peacetime is nothing short of cowardly. Anyone who has seen me post before knows that I have deep respect for the IAF, as hard as it would be for many to believe, but this pilot is an exception.

Other than this shameful incident, I am not aware of any other time when the IAF acted in such way, so I give them the benefit of the doubt. PAF, on the other hand, has a good record of airmanship. We not only have spared IAF aircraft during peace time (and once during war) but even spared a Russian transport aircraft during the 1980s after it had crossed more than the designated 4KM threshold value as per PAF RoE at the time.

There is no need to provide any links, the deniers will continue to deny. Also, I would appreciate it if you could resist engaging with trolls on this thread.

PAFAce....

I have a simple question......If an unarmed spy is caught doing a reconnaisance missiion on Pakistani soil and tries to run away, would you let him escape or take him down in the name of national security?

Please seperate emotions from the situation and analyze.....A Pakistani "miliatry reconnaisance plane" intrudes Indian airspace, and is trying to escape.....Whether it is on a training mission, whether the plane is unarmed or trying to capture sensitive information does not matter as long as it could jeopardize the Indian national security....especially in light of the fact that India-Pak are traditional enemies.....

Do remember that one man's terrorist is another mans Shaheed....similarly the act you call "cowardly" is an act of heroism for us, especially because we dont know how the information your plane was taking back to Pakistan could have affected our national security.....

We do sympathize with the death of those airmen on the atlantic, but its an uphill task trying to convince us that the events as they transpired at that point of time were wrong from an Indian perspective......

Thanks

Only in a shooting war, you shoot first and ask questions later,
During 1965 war, PAF leader dives onto a train steaming out of Gurdaspur Railway Station, in the heat of the battle he vividly catches passengers craning their necks out of the windows to identify the on rushing aircraft and the PAF leader screams to his formation not to open fire, no such thoughts by IAF when it attacks a train in Lahore thus making a female student first casualty of war.
During Kargil confrontation, Indian energy minister's helicopter breaches the International border, the Chopper is promptly challenged by PAF, in panic the Indian pilot almost crashes, however realising that civilians are on board, the Falcon leader escorts the Helo back to India. The Indian minister later attributes his life to the PAF.
Only the desperate try to prove and show acts of achievement.

The Pakistani aircraft shot down had violated Indian airspace on 8 previous instances......Even so... before it was shot down, the MIGs had instructed the PN aircraft to accompany them to the closest base....instead the aircraft took an abrupt turn and tried to sneak back into Pakistani airspace....which is when it was shot down....

TIMEasia.com | India-Pakistan: Tit for Tat | 8/23/99

Get off your moral high horse.....The Atlantique was given a chance...as PAF did to the Indian ministers chopper.....If the aircraft was truly on a training mission, it should have had no problem accompanying the MIGs to an Indian base....Period!!!

And I think enough has been said on the subject....even the International Court dismissed the case in India's favor.....case closed!!
