What's new

Lest we forget

^^^Well why dont you question the noobs on your side of the border who sent a Maritime surveillance/Anti-Sub aircraft for a land mission.....LOL!!

I dont understand what it is that has been so hard for you to comprehend.....Whether the aircraft was naval, land reconnaissance, fighter jet or a UFO....as long as it was an enemy aircraft that crossed our borders....it is deemed a threat if it refuses to follow protocol of being escorted to the nearest base until cleared to return....

Please see below for a similar incident that happened recently where our "ally" the US was faced with a similar situation but followed protocol....

American plane forced to land in India | Pakistan | News | Newspaper | Daily | English | Online

And what is an even more desperate attempt is the incident that followed right after where Pakistani armed forces tried to shoot an IAF chopper carrying journalists to prevent them from reporting to the world about the blatant disregard for an international border/ rules that your armed forces/navy displayed through this infiltration......clear attempt at trying to cover the doo-doo stains....

Now unless you have some evidence that proves otherwise.....quit beating the same drum....

The rest of your post has nothing to do with the topic...
Picky and choosy, are we, The MIG in question was the one involved in the Atlantique incident.:azn:
Since you are the victim of your own frivolous media, it's irrelevant to point out that during those eventful days, violating other country's border would be the last option more so after earlier shoot down of the two MIGs. This high profile loss had the BJP against the wall hence it had to execute something rationale to gain public confidence thus win the next elections. You also need to be reminded that the PAF Falcon leader escorted the Indian Minister's Helicopter back across the border, it wasn't ordered to surrender and land in Pakistan. However what goes around thus comes around, pity the MIG pilot is not around to disclose the truth.

The political "scheme" as you suggest in your post to shoot down a military aircraft of a soverign nation to garner points from the janta is far fetched and pure speculation at most......I read it more as a conspiracy theory that many of you are fond of....Nothing more.....

Since there is no way for you to prove the above accusation, lets leave it at that......

About the highlighted portion, there is a difference in how a "convoy" is treated vs a "spy plane".....The two incidents cannot be called an apple to apple comparison.....
Attacking a stray plane carrying an Indian politician is very different from a plane whose main purpose is "reconnaisance" that may or may not have gone stray.....
To add further....unlike the IAF chopper which followed instructions and kept lines of communication with the PAF clear....the Atlantique had failed to heed to the warning and tried to escape back into Pakistani airspace which called for the aggresive stance from IAF.....(If the Atlantique was stray it would have no reason to run.....unless it did not want the Indians to know the information it had collected on its mission...which is what any nonbiased person would infer from the situation)....

Do remember that India cannot allow an enemy spy plane to take sensitive info back let alone escort it.....Why dont we just let PAF fly sorties over Indian airspace if we allow the above?.....There is a very obvious reason why the plane had to be shot down!

Also keep in mind the 1991 bilateral Indo-Pak agreement where no military aircraft would fly within a 10km distance of the IB......

A group of Pakistan-based foreign military attaches in Badin August 12 inspect the site where a Pakistan naval plane crashed after being shot down by Indian jet fighters. Pakistan took the attaches to the site of the August 10 crash to try to prove its claim the plane was shot down in Pakistani territory.

Indian Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee views the wreckage of the Pakistani naval aircraft at his New Delhi office on August 11. India said the plane was shot down on August 10 after it intruded into its territory and refused to respond to Indian warnings near the border in Gujarat state. The wreckage was flown to the Indian capital early morning.

Firstly you only challenge some one to something only and when you practice and deliver it your self.

Respect and self determination are two different ball games. You may give self determination out of respect only if other party is seeking it.
Hence stop implying such values to which your own credibility is open to question.

So you are taking back your ridiculous claim. Good.

Pakistan only follows the motive of respect and self determination

How are Gujrat and Babri Masjid provocation to you? Its our internal matter and we will resolve it.

Are you the thekedars of all the Muslims in this world? Why dont you go and fight with US over the hundreds of Muslim deaths in Pakistan and Afghanistan? The hundreds still imprisoned in Guantanamo Bay without trials. Oh wait! Your politicians and military generals are still busy sleeping with their US counterparts!

@ Robbies .

Question is not for you and i can't be bothered answering to your crap anyway ..useless.
